I bought this nightgown with little guidance because there were few reviews from a woman of voluptuous size with the details I looked for before purchasing clothing online (weight, regular size, etc.).I am 185 pounds, 5'6, and usually wear an XL in dresses. I ordered an XL in this nightgown, even though Amazon recommended me an L. I was scared it would be too small for my liking since I don't like my sleepwear to be tight, and it would probably shrink since it is made mainly of cotton.I am thrilled with my XL. It is comfortably the right size for me since I like my nightwear a little oversized. I haven't washed it yet, but even if it does shrink, I think it would still be the perfect size for my liking. I may have gotten away with an L, but again, I prefer my nightwear to the ideal amount of oversized. I recommend a large if you like your nightgown to be more form-fitting. It's boxy and thin but not sheer. I might try sewing a dart at the waist, but it looks fine as it is. I'll be ordering this in more colors.

I'm 5'7 and bust size 31", I ordered a small and it's super short in the back, hardly covers anything when standing straight. I'm returning for a medium which isn't any longer by the size chart, but I would like it a little looser around the neckline. Good thing is that if you're tall and thin, the neckline stretches enough to pull off the shoulder to make it longer, so I can do that when wearing this around people I don't wanna flash. Other than that super soft and adorable, looks like the picture. I love it just want another inch or two.

context: 5’4 180lbs or so, small chested. I got a large.It lands a couple of inches above my knee which I love. It’s a good length for sleeping in as longer nightgowns drive me crazy. It’ll keep you modest just barely. So cute. The light pink is so feminine! The fabric is soft and stretchy but not as shapeless as your typical jersey material. There are some super cute bow and lace details that I love. The neckline is great and because of how baggy it is it doesn’t look weird without a bra. I haven’t washed it but I could see myself air drying this so the fit and softness is maintained.

I bought this initially for a Halloween costume but now use it to sleep in. It’s very soft material and great quality. It’s not super see through but you may need to wear something underneath if you are wearing it out. The material is good thickness as well IMO. it does get a little wrinkly after being washed but it’s not too big of an issue. I really love the way it looks and feels.

I ordered this for my wife. According to her, the material is comfortable to wear, not too warm or cool. The style is reminiscent of women's nightgowns from the 18th and 19th century though shorter. The nightgown is very attractive on her. 100% cotton material, and the sizing is accurate.

I bought a couple different ones of these and while they are very cute and soft, they are super short! Like you can't wear just the gown around the house unless you want to show everyone the "goods" lol. It's good for just sleeping or if you wear some pj shorts underneath too.
