This cord cover is well made, seems pretty sturdy and was easy to install. It comes rolled up in a small box, I took it out of the box and rolled it up in the opposite direction for a few hours so that it straightened out before using it, that made it lie pretty flat when I put it in use.The cover overall is roughly 1-1/4" wide, but the channel for the cord is very small, about 5/15" wide at most and just over 1/8" deep, maybe 3/16" deep at most. It could hold one of those light duty flat extension cords, but not the round kind that's about 1/4" in diameter. I used it for a thin antenna wire going to a cigar-type HD TV antenna that sits on the windowsill, that cord is about 1/8" diameter and it fit easily into the channel, but a much larger cord (like a standard cable TV cord) may be too big.Also, as I noticed in prior reviews, there is an indented line along the center of the cover on the under side, where you have to cut it to open it up to insert the cord. I used a sharp pocket knife and it worked great, took less than a minute to cut the entire length of the channel.It lies fairly flat and the sand color goes well with the rug. Overall I am pleased and it worked great for my intended use, but if you have a thicker cord to cover or a cord that is much wider than 1/4", it may not work for you!

I needed to hide led light cords on the stairs and this did a great job. The adhesive works well and the cord is protected.

This overall worked great and it looks wonderful for my situation but unfortunately the item did not come properly cut — the opening on the bottom where you're supposed to jam the cord in was completely fused together and no matter how I bent it, the opening stayed fused together. I had to take a razor blade to it in order to get it to open up. In doing so, I unfortunately also cut a bit of the inside of the top part, but I thankfully didn't cut all the way through. Hopefully the errant cuts won't cause it to come apart later, I'll update the review if they do.I followed the instructions to get it to straighten out, and while I was skeptical that just 15 minutes inverted in the box would be enough, this truly did straighten it out enough and the cord cover now sits flush on my floor.I didn't use the adhesive. Installed this on the edge of some carpet, which was next to tile that sits higher.Used the product to run a cat-6 ethernet cord and it fit perfectly. Overall no complaints except that the product was not properly cut and this slightly complicated the installation.Update: product is still holding in place and still looking great after a year. Aside from the cutting issue, this is a great product and I can’t recommend it enough.

I used it to hold and hide the cord for my under-cabinet light. It worked great and was easy to install. Cut with scissors. The double sided tape has held up for a year now.

We have an open concept living room/kitchen area where we utilize the electrical outlets that could become a trip hazard between the rooms. This works perfectly to avoid any issues and still allow us to make decorative use of otherwise useless outlets that can only be used for plugging in a vacuum. We have vinyl wood grain flooring, so I can't attest to how good this would work over carpet. NOTE: The double sided sticky tape can be a minor challenge . Might be helpful to have an extra pair of hands to keep an end in place as you pull the upper secondary protective strip off . Once you get your tape in place it's easy peasy to lay the cover over the top. Don't forget to run the cord through it first ! LOL !

It looks a lot wider in the pictures. Very narrow. Very hard to get it to lay flat. I ended up not using it.

I don’t usually write reviews but I really doubted if this product would work because it was so inexpensive but it did the job perfectly!Needed to lay a section of Christmas light across an apartment walkway and wanted to make sure it would be safe for all the foot traffic. Got this in 4ft and it was the perfect length for what I needed and held the cable. The adhesive strength was excellent! I did my best to wipe and clean the surface it was going to stick to. But being a textured surface I had my doubts about how well it would hold. It held perfectly! Once I pressed it down it didn’t budged the whole month. It was exactly what I needed! When it was time to pull it up it came off pretty easily. Being Southern California it didn’t have to handle extreme temperatures, just some wind and dust.Definitely recommend! It’s easy to use, will keep the cord safe and people safe from tripping on the cord and really adheres well.

Wish I had done this sooner instead of covering cords with rugs. Super easy to install. Wish the wood print was lighter though.
