A little expensive but this is a higher quality cast net. Learn how to throw it best for your style and you won't have tangle issues. I've been catching pinfish, finger mullet, Silverbacks, and all sorts of bait fish along the Florida gulf intercostal waters. The weights drop the net very well and quickly

NEED TO KNOW
This is not a beginner net, if you looking for an upgrade this is a net for you. For years I am the guy that spent hours throwing the net and couldn't get any bait. In the other hand, the other guy did 1 cast and got a net full of bait. I can see the bait fish and my net was casted directly above them, but couldn't catch them. I thought it was technique, just to find out the net have huge impact on catching.Yes, this net is more heavier compared to other same sizes net. This is why I said this is not a beginner net. The design of this net makes the net sink very quicker, once sunk, it also closes very well and prevent bait from swimming under. The lead design also prevent tangle free, allow me to reload and cast the quicker.After purchased this net, I went from the guy spent hours throwing to the guy who made few cast and catches enough bait to last the entire day.I owns 2 different net. A 7ft 3/8 (green) and a 6ft 5/8 (white). I used the 3/8 for green back and other smaller bait. My 5/8 is my to go net for finger mullet (or bigger) and other larger bait. The 5/8 sink 4 times faster than 3/8.If I have the money I would get the 1 inch for mullet, 5/8 is a very good net and sink very fast. The 1 inch in the other hand sink twice as fast compared to the 5/8. Nevertheless, i can't complain too much with my 5/8 as I did catch more mullet.
