This is overall a great item. It gives a lot of space in the shower, looks nice and seems sturdy. The problem is with the screws. Do not even attempt to use the screws that come with it. They strip at any pressure. My husband was hand screwing and stripped the heads. It will save you a lot of frustration if you just use new screws. So for that they lost a star, but still recommend this item.

I must say that it was really easy to install, the brackets provide a lot of flexibility so I was even able to install outside of the tiles. The brackets are kind of plastic but very well design and once installed it's pretty secure and sturdy, way better than the expandable pole i had. The curve could be bigger but it's enough to make a difference. Good buy for sure. Thank you

oh my God this is fabulous and just what I’ve always wanted. When you put the bar up, it doesn’t look like it bends too much, but it makes such a big difference inside the shower. I’m a little claustrophobic and my old shower rod gave me so much trouble with taking a shower. Now that I have this one the curtain never touches me and I have a little extra room in the shower, it causes me much less stress to be in there.

I installed this shower rod less than 2 months ago and it's already rusting on the underside (side facing downward). I purchased it because it wasn't overly expensive, it was a curved shower rod, which was a must, and it was a fixed rod, not a tension rod, and most importantly, alleged that it was rustproof, because no one wants brown spots showing up on their silver colored shower rod and ultimately having to replace it! The installation was easy, for the most part. It took about 15 minutes with me determining where (how far up/out) I was going to place the rod, drill the holes, etc. The rod comes in 2 pieces and slides into place and you just adjust it to your shower stall. I will say the 2 brackets that hold the shower rod are a TOTALLY different color than the shower rod itself. The rod is a nickel color and the 2 end pieces are chrome. Again, I'd avoid this one! I'm already searching other places to purchase a new one so I can replace this one! The attached photo may not be the best, but the speckles are rust spots.
