I have twins. One loves dragons, and one loves unicorns. So OF COURSE they're loving this game. It's fun and easy to learn how to play. There is a beginner way to play, and an advanced way, so my kids (age 10) are having fun and I think the game will grow with them.

We love this game! It’s so simple but fun. It’s the luck of the draw somewhat so it makes it fun that one person can’t always dominate. It’s quick and easy, great for two players but also teams of two. Easy to play while having a conversation with a friend. Highly suggest!

Read all the rules. We tried to play thinking we understood the game after a quick run through the rules but it took a few rounds to make sure we had all the rules down correctly. It was a riot of errors the first few times. But it is a fun game.It can be frustrating and feel unbalanced sometimes, so it's not a game we play tooo often but it is enjoyable. And the cards are cute and well made.i wish the mat were better quality than poster board... Maybe fabric like the mat in bears vs babies.

The Good: If you have played other Unstable Games, you'll instantly feel at home here. The quality of the cards is good, and the artwork is cute & colorful like their other series. Game is quick to setup, easy to teach, and plays quick enough that it's easy to play multiple times in a short period. It's tic tac toe, but with Dragons & Unicorns! Oh, and all of the card abilities that they possess of course.The Bad: I wish the included grid was made of cardboard, or neoprene. I know it would increase the cost, but it would improve the table presence tremendously. Printed & folded paper - even nice quality as it is - simply never lays flat after being stored for any length of time. I also don't find the "basic" mode - 3X3 grid - enjoyable at all. It typically boils down to the person who plays first winning almost every time. We now solely play the "advanced" mode - 4X4 grid - and it's much better. It allows for more interaction. I also felt the dragon deck was very unbalanced. I removed the following cards from the decks and am much happier with the gameplay now.1 - Sharp Sight (dragon)1 - Blaze By (dragon)1 - Double Buck (unicorn)1 - Super Swap (unicorn)The Indifferent: This is very much a "take that" style game. You spend almost as much time ruining your opponent's plan as you do putting your own in motion. Some like that style, others don't.Overall, my family enjoys this game. It can be played at 2, 3, or 4 players, though in my opinion it's best at either 2 or 4. It works at 3, it just seems a bit awkward. I do highly recommend making the changes I noted above in the bad stuff section, as prior to that I was ready to cut my losses and sell the game to free up what little shelf space it occupies. Now it's a game we often grab when heading places as an optional filler.

This is a decently paced very cute game. The cards are about average quality. It is easy to learn and we enjoy playing after school. We avoid screens during the week and this is absolutely perfect for keeping my daughter entertained and creates lovely bonding while teaching her about strategic thinking.

This is a very simple and fun game to play. I love the art style of all the unstable unicorn games. I own most of them. This is fast paced and fun. Easy to learn.

This is a really fun game. It's a new take on tic tac toe. I've played it on game nights with some adult friends and we've had a good time. The art quality is great. It's fun for both adults and kids.

Have an only child or one kid out of the pack that the older siblings don’t want to play with?This game is perfect! Yes you can play up to 4 people but I got this as something I could play with my daughter one on one.This is a mixture of your typical card games like Pokémon and tic-tac-toe and they did it well. Simple enough to learn yet challenging enough to become harder for older kids as well.I bought both versions they they both are the same BUT different in enough ways that it changes how you play.Buy both of them you will not be disappointed!Unless you don’t enjoy card games, Tic-tac-toe and having fun in general. Then u maybe disappointed.
