Another must have for someone with a Go set. These wear out over time on the Go cars and will need to be replaced. I don't think people realize that you have to maintain a Go slot-car, but when these eventually wear out, your car will not run on the track and you will be upset and blame the set for being defective because you failed to research maintaining the cars. The brush is the primary contact to the stainless steel rail on the track, as these wear, your car will either slow down, or stop at parts in the track and you will think it is the track that is defective. The brushes pull out and new ones snap in- and they have to be positioned a certain way for them to correctly work on the track. Carerra has instructional videos on how to service the brushes. You should have a spare set of these to avoid downtime. These do fit the "Go" cars just like the ones that came with it installed.

Great replacement for track cars. The brushes are hard to get just right, but once you adjust them, they are good to go. I wish it had instructions for setting the brush just right.

It seemed impossible to find what part I needed for my son's Cars 3 Carrera First set, to replace the contact brushes. This is it. Brushes seem a bit stiffer than the originals... which can lift the car out of the track. They calmed down now and work great. The originals didn't last long, hoping these are more durable given the stiffness. Upon compare to originals, the metal part that inserts into cars seems slightly smaller, but does not impact fuctionality.

If you have Go slot cars then you will need these pickup shoes. Cars wear these out very easily if you use the set alot. These go on with no problem and gets the cars to run like new.
