Yummy
Love this Protien drink. whip it up with 1% milk and you’ll think you are drinking a Milkshake. Smooth and thick! YUM!

Love it
I have been using this for over 15 years. Only protein drink that doesn't taste chalky. One banana lots of ice and water its better than a 1000000 calorie shake.

Does the job
Purchased because it's essentially a whole day's meal replacement with the daily amounts of all the various vitamins and minerals. Using it to make smoothies with some powdered peanut butter. The whole canister lasted me about 2 weeks, and that's with me making ~64 ounces of smoothie at one go. This is saving me a ton of money too!The stuff is filling although I feel like the flavor and thickness are a bit thin compared to some other protein powders I've had. The powdered PB and ice do help this though. That said, since using this, I've lost several pounds already.I'm looking forward to continuing to use this product. Enough that I bought 4 new cans. Should lose me a few more pounds and increase my bank account in one go!

they fixed it!!!
Edit: As of today, April 27th, 2015, I went to my local distributor and the 2lb chocolate spirutein had NO STEVIA! not sure if this particular distributor moved all the stevia tainted product yet, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!Original post: Wow, this was my favorite product for a number of years, but this latest reformulation is a disaster. This particular batch was poorly packaged and arrived dented and busted open, so the inside of my box was covered with this new superfine moondust powder consistency that just seems to get everywhere, that aside, I mixed up my usual morning shake and took a sip. The result was this godawful sickening sweet taste that made me think that surely I had somehow gotten the wrong product.Nope, I checked it against my last can of Chocolate Spirutein, all the nutritional information was exactly the same, no additional carbs or sugars. So I checked the ingredient list. Listed at number 11 (out of 40, 41 if you count "love" which this package surely does not contain) is now stevia. I'm fairly certain this new superfine choking dust cloud is the result of them just pouring a ton of stevia into an awesome product, which is a shame.Don't make my mistake, I'm out $40 already, find a new protein powder and find it in a hurry. This will be my last Nature's Plus product purchase. Thanks for losing yet another customer, zero calorie stevia.

This has been my favorite for 28 years
I love this brand and product. I can blend it easily with a hand blender, as long as I get a butter knife to scrape the sides of my cup. It doesn’t have any weird aftertaste, and you can get a creamy texture. I always feel good after drinking it, especially when I am shaky from lack of food. It lasts a long time too. Strongly recommended.

My go-to protein powder (but go back to the old containers!)
Love Spirutein and I've been using the chocolate powder for years! Giving 4 starts because they switched to a tall plastic container and it does not fit in any standard cupboard. I fortunately had one of the shorter cardboard containers and I just keep refilling that one.

Still a great product!
I've been using Spiru-tein since the 1980s (off and on) and I am "on" again and loving it! The colder the better, I say. I use a blender (with ice), but you don't have to. I make mine with low-fat milk, and often add a banana for a little more zip and natural sweetness. Add some natural peanut butter and wowzers. I also buy the strawberry as well. Give both a try!
