Koala Lou Paperback – Picture Book, February 28, 1994

I love this story. So heart warming

I grew up reading this book and was so excited to be able to share this with a friend. It is a lovely story about a kid koala searching for a way to get their mom’s attention and love with the arrival of all their siblings, only to find that it was always there regardless of what they did. The artwork is lovely as well!

Great for reading to our school's 1st grade class. The pictures make it interesting for the kids.

I just love Mem Fox and her wonderful books. Starting to purchase her books for my new granddaughter. Love the story lines and illustrations.

One of my most favorite books from my homeland of Australia. Illustrations and story are superb. Extremely well written by a world respected author. Mem Fox is just the best! The story of Lou is so cute and inspirational. I bought it as a gift for a friend's baby. She loves the book and so did everyone else at the baby shower. And of course there is the cute exotic Aussie aspect to it - perfect baby or children's gift....and adult gift. Especially a unique gift to give in USA from an Aussie.

As a retired Kindergarten teacher, I used this book every year! Men Fox is an amazing author! This story happily chokes me up everytime I read it! Now I love reading it to my granddaughters and when I’m a guest reader in my old school. It’s a great read aloud story!

Such a sweet book. Originally bought for my Aussie daughter over 20 years ago. Moved to the USA and brought it to many classrooms. The kids loved it. Just gifted it to a new mother for her baby. A loving tale of a neglected felling koala and the love of her mama.
