Repaired the breaking seams in original granite countertops. COlor matched well. Saved loads of $$
The seams on our grey/black granite kitchen counter tops started to chip away and left gaps. My wife even cut her finger while cleaning them and food always got stuck in there. I called a few placed in town and they were charging $200-$500 to come and repair it and would not sell me the compound. I bought this with the hopes of repairing it myself and it went very well. A little color goes a long way, and it takes enough time to solidify that it can be worked with. I used a few youtube videos to learn the steps, used masking tape, razor blades and the seams game out better than new. This stuff is completely worth it, it works great and lasts. The colors in the package are awesome. Save yourself some $$$ and use this for all sorts of DIY stone repair.

Keep scrolling - unless you have a bunch of time to waste
I purchased this product after lots of research. I live in Florida and have cracked tiles in my kitchen and hallway, the obvious result of settling. The cracks have been there and have not grown in 12 years.I decided to try cosmetically hiding the cracks. I only needed a very light tan color so I mixed about an almond size of both A and B with a toothpick dip of brown. The color was good, but when I filled the crack on my test tile, the product was quite transparent. I remember reading that it should turn white when dry, or a solid color when pigment is applied, but it dried transparent.I scraped it all out and started over, this time using a bunch of white pigment then coloring it with brown. I figured that if the base is white, the product should dry more opaque, so I did three tiles this time.Nope. It dried transparent, although a little more "milky".I was then stuck with 3 floor tiles that had a ton of dried epoxy to scrape off, which took a very long time.In the end, I'll have to use dental tools to try and dig the epoxy out of the cracks so I can try something else.I will be requesting a refund.

Quality product
Is it expensive? Relatively, yes. However you likely spent thousands on your granite countertops, and in the grand scheme of things, this is worth the investment. It's also much less expensive than having a professional come out and do it. We did that in the past. After I completed the project (which wasn't difficult at all), my wife commented that the end result looked better than the professional job we had hired previously. You get enough material to do dozens and dozens of seams. The quality of the pigments is excellent. Invest in a quality epoxy and dye such as this, and you won't regret it.

Easy for DIYer
This stuff is awesome! I am a DIYer and have never worked with granite before. I needed to butt two pieces together for a bathroom. both cuts were made with a skilsaw with stone blade, and by no means perfect. With this kit I was not only able to glue the joint together, but color match and dab in the rocket gel. I was easily able to make the joint nearly completely disappear. I was also using a fairly busy granite that had many different colors in it.Overall I am extremely happy with the kit. A bit of advice: the color pigment is VERY strong. it takes just touching the head of a toothpick to the dye to color the rocket gel. it is very easy to use too much and ruin your batch.Highly recommended if you are doing any granite project.
