HanesWomen's Pure Comfort Briefs 6-Pack

I usually buy Hanes brand underwear. I still have some size 10 Hanes underpants that are about 5 years old. I ordered this product in size 9 since I have lost over 100 pounds and my size 10s are too huge. But, these size 9s are too small and they haven't even been washed yet. My experience with washable cotton over the last fifty years is that it is colorfast and minimal shrinkage. But that is no longer the case. The washing instructions say to use COLD water (an indicator of shrinkage control and possibly not even colorfast!).What really annoys me is that a couple months ago I bought Hanes underpants in a size 8 that didn't specify organic cotton. It fit before washing but shrank a lot in the first wash. That didn't make sense but I thought possibly I should try a size 9 and I like that it's organic. But again NO JOY. I can't afford to waste $30. I live on a fixed income (Social Security) but the prices of commodities is not fixed and the COLA is a joke (in no way does it keep up with inflation).I guess I should cross Hanes off as a trusted manufacturer.

This style is the best I have ever worn. They are comfy, fit well, and the side seams are sewn to lay flat - which they do! All the seams and edges lay flat to disappear under clothes.

Hanes Comfort Soft were great!. Soft, held up well, fabric covered waistband, great leg coverage. They got rid of that line and now this must be the replacement with "Comfort" in the title. Fabric waistband is back. Yay, but the fabric is not the same quality or softness and the legs don't fit right anymore. Bring back the originals!

I bought these panties in a Large ( Size 7) due to the reviews saying the leg holes were a bit small and they shrink ( YES leg holes are too small even for little- me). I like the quality of the organic cotton, and although they are almost " waisties" that is what I needed to stay cool and " aired out" in the hot summer. These are comfortable where other styles ended up chaffing,binding and itchy. I am 5 ft. 4 and 108 lbs, so after throwing the larges- in a hot washer & dryer, they shrank a lot. I did not want to be disappointed later with the "whole tight panty due to shrinkage issue"- and I am not. Great to sleep in and comfy! These larges are now just right for me and my hot dryer! THANKS for the reviews!!!!

Size was what was expected...liked the free shipping...Target charges close to six dollars for the same item..
