If you like Char Siu this is the snack for you. The Tender variant is absolutely amazing. There's really no words to describe how fantastic this is. I didn't actually get to taste what I bought in Singapore because I didn't realize customs would take it from me, so I wanted to try it. I can't tell if this was authentic or not. It's made in the USA. I probably won't buy more.

I'm a pretty open dude when it comes to meat (don't think too much into that) and jerky in general is my thing. I'll eat just about anything jerky-related or similar. This looked interesting so I gave it a shot. I wanted to like it and did eat the entire bag but I don't think I'd get any more.It's not that's it bad - not at all.. it's just not for me. Too slimy, greasy, and it has a weird... almost medicinal taste. It kind of tastes like it took on the flavor of whatever it was cooked in, hardware-wise. It's hard to describe unless you actually try it for yourself.Again, I ate the entire bag so it wasn't terrible but it just wasn't what I was expecting. Give it a shot though, maybe it's for you? I thought for the price they gave you a fair amount and the packaging seemed solid too.

I'm a lifelong beef jerky lover. Amazon started showing me this product after I purchased some other jerky. Looked amazing, and I had never had anything like it. Took the plunge and ordered a batch.1. Very Sweet. I love beef jerky, and one of my favorite things is salty beef jerky. No saltiness in this product, just sickly sweet2, Odor. I can't explain it. An unpleasant odor right out of the bag. Not overpowering, but it IS there. Instructions on the bag recommend heating in hte microwave for 15 seconds. That helps, but not enough.My daughter and I each had 1 piece, then tossed the rest.

Enjoyed very much, tasted like old time when I could buy them bulk in CA.
