Best Maid Dill 12-16 ct Pickles, 128 oz

Just like the old Disneyland pickles, before they stopped marinating them long enough! Or the OC fair. These are what I’ve been searching for a while for. They are the crispy kind of pickles, more the soft and large ones. Very juicy. I love these, really happy to find these.

I am editing this on 10/25 after my original review was proven wrong. The first 4 pickles out of the gallon were mushy and weird, but the remainder of the gallon is perfectly fine. Seller had quick shipping, and the pickles are delicious as usual.My apologies to the seller for not finishing the gallon before judging.Old reviewI WAS WRONG!Best Maid pickles are some of the best pickles ever. They’ve got an amazing flavor. The jumbos aren’t super crunchy, but they usually retain most of their crunch to make their passable. The flavor makes up for it… usually.I’m not sure how old these pickles are or where they’ve been stored, but they’re pure mush. The flavor is still good, but I wasted almost right over $20 on a gallons of pickles because they’re not even edible. They are quite literally pure mush.Absolutely vile.

I have been ordering these pickles for my husband for around a year now. The last 2 orders (from 2 different sellers), the pickles and juice have tasted very bad. They taste nothing like they are supposed to. Now I have 4 of these jars in my kitchen, opened, but completely full. I sent an email to Best Maid concerning this. Not sure if they were bad batches or what.

Why are these so highly reviewed?(1) Pickle Quality - the pickle is such a strange texture, almost rubbery. Your teeth slide around on it weird. Crunch was fine. The inside cavity was hallow and about a gallon of juice dumped out when I took a bite. It literally looked like a firehose of pickle juice.(2) Brine - awful. Tasted so wrong. Tasted like it sat in the back of a hot dusty garage for a summernot a fan AT ALL

Honestly some of the best pickles I’ve had in a while, very much a classic dill but the texture, size and perfect balance on the saltiness is on point. Fantastic for sandwiches, served as a side, or eaten whole.

These things are amazing!! But the salt content is worrisome. I've heard of these giving others sore throats, and now I'm dealing with one. I just hope it's a coincidence.

I am somewhat of a pickle snob. I love dill, pickles, but I’m particular about the brand. This is my first time trying this brand and I’m very pleased. The flavor is delicious. The crunch is awesome and I love to drink the brine. Good job.

I have purchased these at least 5 times, maybe more. They’re great! I can’t share any pictures because they never last… we eat ‘em up lol. Fresh & they’re juicy and huge. I love these pickles.
