This thing is awesome. I bought this so that I could keep my son's ROG Ally X charged whenever we are stuck in the truck for hours. I had never heard of Baseus before so I had my doubts. And after dealing with a similar charger from another brand that failed to supply the advertised power, I was expecting a similar experience with this one. But to my surprise; not only did it output the rated power, but it did it while staying cool. I at least expected it to get very warm with it passing 100W to a computer but it never did after a couple hours of using it. After this experience, I have purchased one other product by Baseus which has also been really good. Honestly, I feel this is one brand that I can trust and would like to try other products from if given the chance.

I have been on a search to provide enough power to my MacBook Pro and Cell Phone when on trips. I use to have to bring a huge inverter that hooked directly to the car battery to provide enough amperage to power the inverter to convert DC to AC, to plug in my wall charger. This went straight from DC jack in the car to DC power through the USB-C connector bypassing the entire waste of converting to AC. I was suspicious of negative reviews of it getting hot; but I had no issues on the multiple trips that I used it on so far. It is a great small design that weighs ounces vs pounds of my previous method.

The three ports of this car charger are used for:-- (USB A 30W) A TUNAI Firefly LDAC Bluetooth Receiver-- (USB C 100W) An OhSnap! Snap Charge (To wirelessly charge my phone. There are newer versions of this like the Qi2, but I'm using an original Snap Charge.)-- (USB C 30W) A USB C to lighting charge cable for my passenger's older iPhone.It works great! Another charger I tired (from the excellent brand Anker, no less) didn't provide enough power on the USB A port to power my TUNAI Firefly when 3 devices were connected. Therefore, for my use case, the BaseUS charger ended up being superior.

First off, I don't know if I bought this one by accident or the other one. With Amazon, it's easy to get lost in the millions of items with similar characteristics however, after receiving two different car adapters let me say this.This adapter is incredibly well constructed. Had I not had the opportunity to compare this one side by side to another, I would have just taken this unit to be just another run of the mill car adapter.Let me be crystal clear here. This was NOT some generic one of a million other rebranded copy cat car chargers.Let's get to the positives.The construction of this unit is grade a quality. The unit emits a subtle glow on the ring of the unit when power is applied. You can tell the engineers that developed this unit took the time to add a little extra flair and it shows. The ports were very sturdy. Plugging in my macbook, steam deck and power bank in to the unit just simply worked. All devices were happily refilling their reserves and none of my electronics threw up any slow charging nags. Everything just worked.The unit remained cool to the touch and I have had zero issues over the past month.As someone who had ordered multiple units from different makers on accident, I can say with confidence that the quality of this one is superior in every aspect. I am planning to return the other one and get another one of these. I'm so glad I lucked out on picking this one.
