And I really enjoyed it. The tea in the canister smells delicious
Ive never had white tea before, and I've never had coconut tea before. So this was an all around new experience. And I really enjoyed it. The tea in the canister smells delicious! It's probably a waste, but I put some of it into a little cup and out into one of the back cup holders in my car so hopefully my car will smell delicious as well. Right now it smells like a hint of sweaty socks. Anyway. I made a cup as soon as this was delivered. The canister thing it comes in probably does a really good job at keeping it fresh. It was hard to open and seals close pretty tight. I'm guessing that's a good thing. The directions say to add a tablespoon to hot water and let it sit for 1-3 min. I let it sit for 3 min and wasn't happy with the taste so I went 2 more minutes and then it was perfect. I then noticed the canister also said that loose leaf tea can be steeped more than once, so I poured more water into the tea press thing and filled it up this time. Let it sit for 5 min and then poured myself another cup, gave my mom a cup to try and let a third cup sit out to cool so I could taste it cold. Which was also good. I had to keep reminding myself that coconut crème tea does not mean coconut cream pie tea, otherwise I'd be setting myself up for disappointment. But this did have a creamy taste to it. And compared to the smell, the coconut flavor is really light. But it works well. I don't think it needed any extra sweetening added to it and it made me think more along the lines of fresh coconut (which I have growing in my back yard. I think I'm going to try adding a couple of chunks to my next cup just to see what happens) than it did coconut cream pie.

Best coconut flavored tea I've ever tasted!
I'm a bit of a coconut freak, if it has coconut flavoring in it, I have to try it! That said, I had been searching for a coconut-flavored tea for a while and out of the 5 or 6 I've tried, this one is by FAR the best one! Most of the others just had a very artificial taste (apparently this seems to be a common problem for coconut flavoring)...This one has a very natural, subtle flavor and even though I usually prefer my teas sweetened with sugar or honey, this one is fine without! It is light and creamy, with just a hint of sweetness and I find, complements and enhances the subtle flavor of the white tea to perfection without overpowering it. It also blends fantastically with white rose tea. I first discovered it in the 1.5 oz tin on Amazon 2 months ago, but have already ordered it in the 4 oz pouch size from the AoT website! As a matter of fact, since discovering them on Amazon, Art of Tea has already climbed to #1 on my list of favorite tea suppliers and I've already placed 3 orders within the last 2 months. I also highly recommend their organic Silver Needle & Jasmine Silver Needle white tea and their "Amore" white tea blend!Consistently high-quality organic & fair-trade tea selection, excellent personable customer service, fast turn-around time (3-4 days) and most of all, their social and eco/environmental-awareness policies & practices makes them a no-brainer for me as my new go-to tea supplier. They are an outstanding 5-star company in every way and more companies should take their cues from Art of Tea.

Aromatic, White Chocolate Decadance
We really enjoy the ones from 'Art of Tea' our favorite "White Coconut Crème Organic White Loose Leaf Tea" which smells amazing and imparts a light white chocolate aroma as you drink the tea. The other I bought was "Organic Green Pomegranate Loose Leaf Green Tea" it smells delicious and lightly fruity. Very refreashing both of these teas. I highly recomend you try them! I bought them both on Amazon.Shipping was fast on both the tea set and teas. This tea set is very heavy, solid and artistic. Both came safe and sound to my door quickly. This is our quite weekend mornings, we heat 4 cups of hot water for 7 minutes in the microwave, put about 1 teaspoon of Tea into the strainer and pour the hot water into the pot and use a spoon to lightly tap the tea into the strainer and start the brewing. 4 minutes later the magic happens. The tea stay hot well over 20 minutes!

Am I "Happy"?
This is a good quality, tasty tea. But, there is a ton of high quality tea out there that are delicious and less expensive. I don't believe it's worth the price. Go with Harney & Sons.

Smooth, creamy, wonderful taste of vanilla and coconut. The smell is amazing!
This tea is very smooth, creamy, and has a magnificent undertone of coconut over a melty vanilla. The white is very delicate, as well. The scent is incredible, and I've kept the tin just to smell whenever I'm bored :) Brew at normal range for white tea. I use a tablespoon for a cup. Overbrewing will result in bitterness, so be careful! This is a magnificent tea for late, cold nights, especially in the Fall and Winter. It smells incredible! The flavors blend in together very well, so if you're looking for a particular tea that you can taste the individual ingredients of, you might want to search for something that has a more varied ingredient list.
