Nobody makes supplements like Garden of Life, in my humble opinion. I have Leaky Gut Syndrome and it is very difficult for my body to absorb the vitamins and minerals I take. I've had excellent luck with Garden of Life supplements. If I don't absorb my vitamin B, the corners of my mouth crack and bleed. Garden of Life's B supplement worked for me when others failed. And now I am putting my trust into this calcium. All Garden of Life supplements go the extra mile: For instance, their vitamins also contain some antioxidants, digestive enzymes, and probiotics... because they are so good for your overall health! So this calcium also contains vitamins K and D, which are necessary for the absorption of calcium. There is also some Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Magnesium (which works hand in hand with calcium), Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Boron, Betiane, and Calcified Red Algae. The calcium is from Algae - which is a fantastic source of calcium that is easily absorbed by the human body. Everything that is in this supplement is there to help you body get the optimum calcium absorption - and that is a very good thing. I have osteoporosis and cannot take prescription medications to correct it. Therefore, I take the best calcium I can find - and this is it! So why only four stars? It costs A LOT of money! I cannot afford to take this as much as I would like. Yes, it is the best. But bottom line, I cannot afford to take this on a regular basis - as I should be taking it.

Garden of Life is exceptional quality.I began taking Garden of Life vitamins about three months ago, after doing a whole lot of research on all of many different brands of vitamins there are, after I found out that heart health and issues, and other women's health issues are attributed to bone health...or the decline of, especially in the spine. I have since noticed a marked difference in certain issues that I was having.Particularly since vitamins aren't regulated by the FDA, or by any other watch agency, it gives me peace of mind knowing that they not only have a line of USDA Grade products, by which there are very high and strict standards of US government, like this one is, but they are of such high reputation and quality that I trust their entire line of products. Moreover, because they are made in the USA, I have so much confidence in them that Garden of Life is the only brand of vitamins that I'll use/take.Most highly recommend! I will be ordering these every month.

I went to the dentist a few years ago and found that my teeth were practically rotting out of my head. As I didn't really have an unhealthy diet, nor do I eat many sugary foods, I thought the problem might be in with calcium. I did some research and found out how important it is that your supplements come from natural, whole-food, sources and that those sources be processed in such a way as to not kill the nutrients. Garden of Life brand has some of the best supplements for whole food nutrition, so I have begun purchasing many of their products, this calcium included. At my last trip to the dentist, he commented that the walls of my teeth seemed to be hardening up, and that my cavities shouldn't be getting any bigger. Hurrah!It's a little expensive, but worth the cost to keep my teeth as long as possible.

I love Garden of Life and was taking their grow bone system, which was great. now unavailble on their website and Amazon. So trying to find another great supplement for osteopenia. I should have stayed with their other calcium that is part of the grow bone system. Those were 4 per day capsules. These are 6 per day and not only is that a lot but they keep getting stuck in my esophagus as they are going down. They are not capsules they are solid but not really smooth. I am a person who can swallow 2-3 vitamins at one time, no problem. Until I tried to swallow 2 of these! They also make me slightly nauseous. I'm sure they are super good quality and ingredients but 6 a day and being so hard to swallow..... may work for you but not for me.

Just received my first bottle of these caplets. I noticed in the supplement facts that these contain soy. When I continued reading below the ingredients it says made without dairy or SOY…. I am confused.
