an explosive start, but....
I've had mysterious IBS symptoms as long as I can remember. It's the kind of thing where one day I'll eat my breakfast and feel great and the next day I'll eat the exact same thing and spend the next six hours feeling like I swallowed a basketball.I started taking these because a digestive enzyme was recommended for my endometriosis and these were well-reviewed.The first few times I took them, within an hour or so I was RUNNING to the bathroom. I halved the dose on the second day, but it was still fireworks. So I figured okay, I can't take these regularly -- but they'll be great for when I travel and can't poop for a week.So I took them for occasional constipation -- and my body started to adjust to them. They stopped making me run to the bathroom and started making me REGULAR. These are dream poops, guys, the kind where there's nothing left for the toilet paper. I don't recognize myself. Now I take them with any big or tricky or restaurant meal. And whenever my stomach decides it's not in the mood for my breakfast toast. They'll prevent / reduce the bloating depending on when I remember they're there. My body still seems to be adjusting. They are negligibly less impactful with each does I take, making them less effective week to week. The bottle says that a person can take up to 9 per day -- 3 per meal, I suppose. Will I go there? Not sure. Next time I get constipated I'll try two and see how it goes.Taking one has been awesome enough that I'm willing to write a long review about it. I might even go so far as to call these things life-changing. Definitely worth the first week or two of explosiveness, so if that's you, I'd recommend hanging in there.Oh, and I have tried less expensive enzymes in the past. No. I might as well have eaten cardboard for all the good they did me.

Less acid reflux
I'm not a huge advocate for vitamins and don't believe in them. But after having my system hijacked by the vegan diet in the past, I did everything to try and repair my gut. Mind you I cook everything from scratch and ferment as well. But taking these, I have less acid reflux and can breathe better, and that's in one day. Mind you, I really hate vitamins but these are by far the only ones I consider best for my system. Also, slept better too and Im finally happy.

Back to normal! :)
After having my gallbladder removed four months ago, I was having difficulty with regular bowel movements and on-track digestion. I was eating plenty of fiber and have a healthy diet, so I've always had regular bowels but not so much after the loss of my gallbladder! I bought these digestive enzymes to aid in that and saw no difference at first. I took one with every meal. (I was thinking maybe irregular was going to be my new regular..?)I tried a new approach and they work like a charm. I'm SO happy! I've started emptying the contents of the capsules into a shot glass of juice (or water, if you don't mind the taste); mix well and drink 10-15 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My digestion is back to normal (no pain or excessive gas; regular movements). I think my digestion needed that extra boost before eating anything, and it seemed to not be breaking down the coating of the capsule quick enough to help efficiently. This new method has made all the difference in the world!I couldn't be happier! I will continue taking these because the results are SO WORTH IT!

I LOVE this stuff
I LOVE this stuff. About two years ago I gained 13-15 pounds when I started taking a certain medicine and had days where I looked almost pregnant with bloat after eating. My jeans would go from fitting just fine to needing to be unbuttoned- it was crazy. I eat mostly a plant-based diet, but I do eat small amounts of dairy and meat from time to time. I had a food allergy test to see if something was triggering my bloat and it came back saying that I was allergic to nothing. I started to research digestion via Kimberly Snyder and found a suggestion of taking digestive enzymes to aid in digestion and reduce bloating. Kimberly has her own line of digestive enzymes but some reviewers weren't happy about be unable to get out of her autoshipments. I was already a huge fan of Garden of Life products so I found these and purchased them over other types of digestive enzymes. What I noticed right away is that the bloating went away on the second day of taking these (yes, there was gas). I lost an inch to an inch and a half on my waistline and I looked so much less puffy. I eventually did lose the extra weight and made sure these were part of my daily routine so I didn't have any more superficial bloating. The package says to take three pills, three times a day, but to build up to that. I started by taking one pill after every meal and worked my way up to three. The only negative is that at nine pills a day you run out of pills really quickly. For me at least, I didn't need nine pills per day for long once all of the initial bloating went down. I then reduced to 3 pills per day- once after every meal. Now sometimes I only take a few after dinner or after I eat meat or dairy, since dinner is typically my heaviest meal.I also started to take spirulina and Garden of Life Primal Defense 30 minutes before each meal and have not had any digestive issues or bloating since and will continue to do so to keep my gut balanced. Please let me know if you have any questions about my experience!

Quality product but poor shipping
I have no complaints about these digestive enzymes, but I do have a complaint about the packaging and shipping. The bottle arrived with a broken cap and chipped rim. I tried to reach out to Amazon about the packing and shipping problem, and got nowhere. I managed to get all the glass out, hopefully, and am using the enzymes anyway. I wish Amazon had responded, as I believe the problem is with Amazon.
