Toddlers are messy, period. These have efficiently helped maintain several outfits clean while we were out as a family or just at home, eating messy meals like soups or pastas with red sauce. They are thick and waterproof, allowing any liquid to spill and fall into the long pocket at the bottom. Just be sure to empty said pocket out or wipe with a paper towel if your kid is an active eater (swings arms, twists/dances, etc)!It might be tricky to get one on a toddler if they’re new to it, but since we have had a set of these (the smaller ones) since ours was born, our toddler is used to it and knows where to shoot arms through. It becomes easier to use with time. I love how functional the arm loops and neck velcro are. In terms of durability, it has survived many a washes since the purchase of any of the sets. We do, however, mostly hand wash and air dry, only running all four that we own through a washer cycle when all four have seen better days (think paint, grease and markers).I love that they come in a variety of stylish colors - we picked the grey/navy blue set as well as the pink/maroon set to match with the outfits she regularly wears.

easy to use, even when fighting a 9 mo old to get his arms in. we wipe it down w a wet paper towel after every use and throw it in the wash every week - 2 weeks (depending on how messy of an eater he is during that time). I like that it folds up flat with snaps and I honestly haven’t tried to fold it back up bc we normally just leave it on his high chair for the next feed. it definitely serves its purpose. we’ve been using it for a little over a month now I believe and it’s still looking and feeling brand new. the velcro works well, it definitely catches the food he drops or spills into his lap. I let him grab the spoon and try to feed himself, a lot of the time he just wants to play so he’ll grab the spoon and smush his fingers through the food, with this smock bib on I let him explore. there’s no way he’s ruining his clothes with this on. definitely recommended, especially if you’re just starting solids (it may be big but that’s ok) and your baby is exploring by grabbing spoons and making a mess!

So these work amazing at keeping the kiddo clean when eating! Only thing that’s a pain is washing and drying it out, I wash and lay it over the sink and it dries quickly. I use it daily and do love it just sucks washing; but it saves huge amount of messes and changing clothes! It’s durable but soft. Perfect thickness and protected the clothes so well! Completely waterproof. It’s like a rain jacket!

But overall, it still does a great job keeping clothes clean. Definitely a must-have for mealtime!

We love it. Got it when my daughter was about 1 1/2 years old. She’s almost 3 1/2 and we still use it if she’s eating something that will mess her clothes up. We take it with us if we are going to a function and she needs to stay clean. I have washed it so so many times and it’s very durable. It’s thick enough but not too thick.

Love this for my baby. Cuffs are a little big for his wrists. Great for decreasing the mess! Easy to clean and use. Not too thick or thin and good year round.

My daughter in law has several of these and I love how it keeps the mess kinda contained..lol.. so a definite when my daughter told me she was pregnant.
