Bought this pack of 50 steristrips (5 packs of 10 strips) after a HTO knee operation as the incision wound took longer than expected to knit together and heal. These were the same brand that I received from the wound clinic, only longer, which saved me a trip going back to the clinic to restock. I cut each 10cm wide (by 3mm deep) strip down to get either 2 or 3 sticky stitches out of each strip so they weren't wrapping round my leg loads (reducing them froom 10cm to either 5cm or c3.5 cm). They really held the skin together well and stayed stuck flat on my skin for days without lifting so I could remove the dressing and let it air/heal. Despite stickly strongly on the skin, it was easy and painless to remove and change them after brief showers. A gentle rub on the end of each strip until it started to lift, then gently lifting it up until it came off. My wound healed really well in the end, leaving a tidy thin scar and I have lots of sealed packs of steristrips left in my first aid kit now so am prepared if the family get any cuts in future that need closing up. Very happy with my value for money, top quality purchase, which I'm happy to recommend to others.

We were given ones from the nurse for a wound, she only gave us enough for one change. I decided to try these as the wound needed extra dressings. They were a good price, they did what they were supposed to do and we had not adverse effects from them. In fact they were still in place when the nurse changed the dressing a week later, her ones had fallen off

These seem very good, fortunately I've not had to use them yet! (First aid box just incase)

I had these strips to use this for a scratch wound on the bottom of my foot, and they lasted the whole time the plaster was on, usually 3/4 days and they came off easy, no damage (as I have sensitive skin)Highly recommend!

Great easy to use good value pack

I lot cheaper than the little packs from the chemist.They are the same ones as used in the Hospital. Always good to have in the first aid box.

My daughter in law suffered an horrendous wound knocking into a terracotta garden pot. It needed ten stitches which have now been removed but the crescent shaped wound still gaps and weeps in places and these steri-strips were needed to hold the sides of the wound together while the healing process continues. Why the nurse at the surgery didn't put some on when removing the stitches escapes me. Recommended
