USB-C / Thunderbolt work at their fully supported rates by either being a "smart" cable, having the host inside the cable itself (certified TB3 and TB4 for example), allowing them to be longer, or in the "dumb" cable, simply by being as short as possible.This is simply a very short "dumb" cable. I think you're better off buying an adapter for half the price and plug in any ol' 0.5 meter or less cable into that and get the same outcome with much more flexibility, then you get the added luxury of being able to plug in any thunderbolt cables you have of any length while still getting all the maximum throughput. This is essentially an awkwardly sized length lightning adapter confused as a cable.

Love it's length, power and data capabilities, and what looks like great durability. However, did not work for the purposes for which I bought it which was to use on my iPhone 12+ with an external DAC made by Hiby (FC3). Don't know if it is the cable, the iphone (iOS 15.1.1) or the DAC. Three stars for everyone involved

The picture on Amazon clearly shows the ‘PD’ certification. The cord I received has no ‘PD’ marking. This, coupled with my charging speed, have me questioning whether this is really a PD-certified cord or not. Unfortunately, I’m leaning toward ‘not’.I invite the Seller, LamToon-US, to please send me a PD cable as that is what is advertised.

Very pleased with the durability and the capability of this cord. Very convenient having a short cord keeping the phone and charger both in one hand while using it.

Using this in my car to charge iPod from USB C outlet. Don't need a lot of length at all and this fits the bill!
