Highly satisfied with this product.
Highly satisfied with this product. We broke in in cooking wild mallard ducks with the spit in the rear, sear notches; amazing. Flavorful, juicy and done to perfection. Tonight we had leg of goat, also really amazing and super easy. I give this product a full five stars for several reasons; it really does what it is supposed to do, cook meat with little effort and no mess clean up. I really like the way the soiled parts are easily removable and dishwasher safe. I like the portability, we store it in the pantry and move it outside to the deck for cooking. We have even considered taking it to the next potluck. Well worth the money.

Best Rotisserie I've Ever Had! You'll Love It!
This thing's awesome and I can't understand why other companies don't compete. I owned one for many years and used it a lot. Unfortunately, my wife dumped me after fourteen years and kept it. I was okay to give her $65K of equity in the beautiful home I bought for my family but my rotisserie really stung! It might be a poor anecdote but I think it really emphasizes how much I love this thing. There's something magical, captivating, about that golden brown hen slowly spinning that makes people drool and stare at it like a campfire. The smell is like a cartoon where the a whispy finger gestures to the kid "come here" for a pie cooling on a window sill. I roasted a five pound hen at just $1 per pound! Think about that. A five pound, slow roasted rotisserie chicken for $5. Now that 93% hamburger meat's $4 a pound, this wonderful machine could pay for itself. You can use the included basket for individual items and mine came with a cookbook to spur your imagination. Flip through it and you'll probably drool in anticipation. You can get a larger basket and they make skewers designed to turn your kabobs with every rotation. Finally, thinking about it now, I'm gonna buy one of the steaming trays for it after I submit this review. It's basically a two compartment covered cooking tray that sits in the four dimples on top of the rotisserie that steams your veggies with the heat from the stainless steel top.

GREAT PRODUCT stupid user ):
This is the best food cooker I've used I can't believe it cooked my WHOLE chicken and made it juicy and tender I will be purchasing more ronco products I'm going to get the "ready and set grill" this was one of the best purchases I've made on amazon. The first 3 pictures is my chicken from beginning to middle to finsh the last picture is when I left the gloves on top of the machine stupid stupid mistake ): I thought It wouldn't BE a problem but every time I turn the machine on a strong odor burns off the silicone on top I asked for a replacement and the customer service was COMPLETELY understanding as usual(: . IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS DO IT

Love my Ronco !!!
I really love this Rotisserie from Ronco !! We gave our older Ronco (of 10 years) to our oldest son and his family and it is still running. We hope to get the same use out of this new one :) Our older one was white, and I wanted to update to this stainless steel. Love the finish on it! No issues after this first year of using this new one. I cover my bottom tray with aluminum foil to help with clean up. The bottom tray still looks brand new! No squeaks yet when it turns. I do have to pay attention to pulling it out from under the cabinets, as this one heats up its' surroundings more than the old one, but the vents are larger, also. No big deal.

Purchased in Stainless Steel
I have been using this rotisserie for over a month now and have quite enjoyed it. It is lightweight for it's size, simple and easy to use, and makes a wonderful roasted chicken. It came with a small basket for grilling items like burgers that won't stay on the skewer, a drip tray with a completely unnecessary vented cover, and has a removable shield that protects the space behind the heating element from splatter. I recommend lining the drip tray with foil each time you use it to help with cleanup as washing the basket can be a tedious task. I have made burgers, steaks (including filet mignons), bratwursts, and whole roasted chickens with this. The instruction manual has a handy chart with cook times for different kinds of meats that have all proved very accurate and have not needed to be adjusted at all. As stated in the manual, the rotisserie does not need time to preheat. it also came with a few elastic meat ties, and a pair of "heavy duty" gloves that don't really do much. The gloves are nice, but if you're cooking several batches of food versus one chicken and calling it done, you'll need pot holders in addition to the gloved to touch any metal inside the rotisserie, as it gets very hot. Don't use just the gloves unless you can give the rotisserie time to cool some first.I took away one star, however, because the timer on the rotisserie can't be trusted. It occasionally gets stuck at a certain time (lower times, not higher ones) and stops counting down. When this happens, it just keeps cooking your food and doesn't stop on its own. However, you can avoid this by simply setting a separate timer to keep track of how long the rotisserie has been cooking. Basically, trust the cook times provided for the meats, not the timer itself. Also, while the basket is super handy, the latch on its lid will gouge your burgers. It's unavoidable, as you have to press things in the basket down to keep them from shifting while they rotate. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons and I have my time with this rotisserie. It's not necessary in the least, but one of those convenience items that are super fun to use. I'm roasting two whole chickens tomorrow for a big Sunday dinner for the whole family.
