Good quality product and as expected.
Great product and value. Design is great and weight as expected — used for a military plaque. Functionality seemed as expected, while grip was as expected and fit was as expected.

Bayonet
I ordered this by accident. It was nicely made and looked good. Made in China so it did not look like it belonged on a vintage US rifle. I returned it.

I read enough reviews to be leary before I purchased but initial impression is quite good,Bayonet has quite a bit of heft when you first pick it up.The blade and shank appear to be one continuous piece of metal. Handle is plastic and a reasonable reproduction of the one produced during the war but won't fool anyone who has ever handled an AFH, UFH or Oneida one from this period. And not just because it lacks the markings. The blade is marked stainless steel and appears to be painted black with edge slightly sharpened. Point very sharp..When I first tried to fit it to my WWII vintage M1 (90% SA, remainder WRA) it did not fit. Could not tell what was stopping it. Turned the bayonet like I was mounting it on the side of the barrel to see if it was the loop opening but it fit over the muzzle and gas tube fine. Then positioned slot on handle at the top of the lug on the gas tube and slowly lowered it wobbling it slightly back and forth and towards and away from the barrel. Did this several times until it clicked into place. Put it on and took it off several times until it got to the point where it slides and locks into place while holding the handle between my thumb and index finger.Haven't looked at the scabbard yet but I didn't buy it for the scabbard. Bayonet is mounted on the M1 which is hanging over the fireplace mantle. For this price I think I'll buy one more.

Good reproduction for the money
I wanted a bayonet for my M1 that I received from the CMP, but I wasnt really prepared to shell out the money for a real deal surplus bayonet. They can go for some serious coin. That, and I really dont >need< a bayonet. It seems very sturdy and well built and afixed to my rifle easily. The scabbard locks in nicely and fits on a GI issued ammo belt.As far as "toughness", I have no idea...I havent charged the beaches of Omaha or fought of a horde of charging Japanese....so I have no idea how well it will hold up to "real use". It is stainless steel, so I doubt overly well. But, for the looks and the price, it was a good purchase.

Fair quality but screw was not theaded
This bayonet was okay for the price I bought it for however, the knife shipped with the handle scales removed and the included screw was not threaded so I will have to purchase a replacement. Additionally the included sheathe was plastic not metal as the description said. It fit on my CMP garand with some rattle which is expected even for the authentic ones according to my research. Okay purchase for the money but the sheathe is not metal and QC could use some work.

Terrible Fit and Finish
Mine came already broken. The screw holding the grip together was not attached and the two sides had separated. They also seemed to have been somehow warped because they bowed out and the screw was not long enough to even attach them. I could have found a replacement screw, so I set the grips aside to fit the remainder on my Garand. This bayonet is way too tight and would not seat properly. I spent about twenty minutes trying to get it on without doing irreparable damage to my gun. Not worth it for a cheap piece of junk with "Made in China" slapped on the side of it.
