Coloring works good when wanting to mix any color chocolate still stays smooth. Used it to make these different colors for an Easter typed birthday.

Ruins my Chocolate
I've used my white chocolate and food coloring and had issues with the chocolate thickening with different brands. I had high hopes for this oil based food coloring with reviews I was seeing. First of all, the red wouldn't make my chocolate red, it was an ugly pinkish red. And the chocolate got so thick I couldn't use it and that was from the oil based food coloring. The more I would add the more it was thickening. And I couldn't get my chocolate red like the color advertised. It's false advertising and this item isn't eligible for return so I just wasted $15 and I'm super upset! Beware!

You get what you pay for
Really, I can't complain much because the price is so low by comparison that you'd be ignorant to not expect something to go wrong. Like many other customers, mine also came with more teal and blue in the box and everything in it than there was in the bottles. The leakage was so bad that it escaped the box and also dyed the other product being shipped with it along with the packaging itself, and of course the mess that came with getting it all out. It's sad because there's as much color all over the place as it takes to actually pigment the chocolate any further than pastel. This isn't the chocolate colorant for my business, BUT it'd be great for kids, occasional use or maybe for people who make pastel colored goods. The price is great considering the selection of colors and the otherwise sturdy box it comes in. I also thought this was gel based? It feels like a really watered down product; but that could be the heat from delivery.

Works great with almond bark
I had no idea that regular food coloring would change the texture of almond bark (kind of like melting chocolate). I use almond bark when I make oreo balls. Depending on what I’m making them for, I like to dye the almond bark to go with the holiday/occasion. This worked great for that. Be careful, as it does sometimes leak just a bit or gets in the lid and then on your hands.
