It’s different
I’ve used so many tooth powders pastes chewy tablets so I thought this paste would be gross (I boughtt the orange tube). I’d add greasy bought the 1240 (forgot the count) bristled Curaprox brush and wanted to try their paste. First, the proper brushing technique truly made all the difference. No more sawing back and forth forcing premature gum recession. Plus the toothpaste has a nice feel in my mouth (no overwhelming bubbles). It thoroughly removes the biofilm (teeth blanket) and tartar on all surfaces. Healthy teeth gums tongue aren’t a quick process but it sure is worth it for me. Great quality and value for a smaller tube than I expected; I didn’t use as much as I used to with main stream pastes. It had two important ingredients (FDA ADA approved fluoride and (non FDA ADA approval yet) Hydroxyapatite (nano) to clean and prevent caries and …. Here’s an excerpt from the Curaprox website: What makes you happy? What makes you say “wow”? Subtle notes of peach and apricot. A touch of refreshing mint. Wow. Pure happiness. The formula - freshness, herbs, oral healthFluoride is a must. Hydroxyapatite and glucose oxidase, along with natural ingredients, ensure an enzymatic whitening effect that’s gentle on your teeth. And xylitol, birch sugar, tastes sweet as it strengthens your teeth and tackles bacteria. Extracts of echinacea, bitter orange, devil’s claw and Indian pennywort support your mucus membranes and stop inflammation. Plus provitamin B5, which supports the formation of new cells. No SLS, no triclosan, no micro plastic. RDA approx 50. And the power beads? They contain a powerful dose of menthol. for me, the paste is highly functional as the prior pastes were just sudsy minty and crunchy (could feel abrasives). Oh, it’s apricot peach (wish they’d market mango đźĄ). Trial sizes are on their website but it’s faster via Amazon when I realized mom switched her paste (they carry little travel kits too)

Love this toothpaste!
Since I started menopause, traditional mint toothpaste started burning my tongue and mouth so I started hunting for an SLS free non-mint alternative. This toothpaste has a great flavor, leaves my teeth feeling clean and has a fresh zing to it without a burning aftertaste.

Works for me!
I ordered this toothpaste because I was having some issues with mint toothpastes drying my mouth and lips out. (I think allergy related) It is actually hard to find toothpaste that isn't mint! Crazy!First impression... doesn't taste like watermelon. I'm not sure what it tastes like... but not that. lol The flavor is fine, I just can't describe it. Not bad, not anything I am overly excited about either. If you like your toothpaste to bubble, as I do, I recommend mixing it 50/50 with another toothpaste. For me, I use a kids toothpaste as my other 50%. It doesn't have as much fluoride as this one, which is why I can't use the kids as my only form of toothpaste. The half and half mix seems to get my teeth clean and I prefer more "bubbles" so that helps. One thing about the product is I find that it is not thick like other toothpastes. This doesn't matter other than that I recommend being careful when squeezing the tube. I have wasted a lot of toothpaste that way.Initially I thought it seemed expensive for the size tube I received but a little goes a long way so and I will be buying more in the future!

It's ok
Had a decent flavor. Not too terrible. Better than some of the other toothpastes I've tried.

Very low abrasion, no toxic ingredients
I have very severe dental erosions from years of grinding my teeth and probably also from gastric reflux. My dentist suggested that I use a low abrasion toothpaste. His hygienist suggested Sensodyne, but I learned that it is good for sensitive teeth and contains potassium nitrate, which blocks nerve endings so pain is lessened. I don't have sensitive teeth -- I have worn teeth. I learned that abrasiveness in toothpaste is measured by RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasion value) and that an RDA of less than 70 is considered low abrasion. The problem is that very few makers list the RDA of their toothpastes. Another problem is that I wanted fluoride but did not want a toothpaste containing artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose, saccharin, etc). So whenever I found a toothpaste that had natural sweeteners (xylitol, stevia, etc.) and fluoride I had to email them to ask what the RDA was, but none was lower than 70. Then I came across Curaprox and was thrilled that they actually listed their RDA (a very low 50) right on their website, but also that there were no toxic ingredients, the sweetener was xylitol and fluoride was included. I tried both flavors (watermelon, apricot-peach) and liked both. The watermelon tasted a bit odd at first, but I got used to it. However, I preferred the apricot-peach. It might seem expensive, especially for a small tube, but it seems to last a long time and the ingredient mix fits the bill for me.Also, I know that many people believe that fluoride is toxic, and I have to say that I don't know if it's toxic but I believe I need it to keep my remaining enamel as strong as possible.

Should be called watermelon mint
I was looking for a non mint flavored tooth paste. While I don't mind the flavor of mint I hate the way mint tooth paste hurts my mouth. Mint tooth paste just stings my mouth and I finally decided I was sick of it. After trying my kid's very flavored non mint tooth paste it made me realize that tooth paste could exist in non mint flavors that didn't hurt my mouth. So I decided to look for an adult version... that's much easier said then done. I found this and gave it a try...While it is watermelon flavored, it still has that mint sting to it that I'm trying to avoid. I'm sure they do that because people associate that with a "fresh mouth". I just associate it with pain. The flavor is a light watermelon, not over powering, the texture is just fine, and the packaging is well done.
