Vintage Lace Parasol Gothic Lolita Umbrella UV Sun Protection Witch Cosplay Photoshoot Props Party Decoration

I tanned too much in my youth and have always had freckles. The last 5 or so years if I get enough sun on my face the freckles under my eyes come out and turn almost black, and merge or are close enough together, that they literally look like I took grease (like sports players use) and swiped it under each eye. To be safe I did check, and get a second opinion, and thankfully no cancer worries, just damage that causes this. So obviously, I do my best to keep my face out of the sun, because even with sun screen after 30 minutes I start to get color.I went on a family reunion that required a lot of being outdoors, with little to no shaded areas, and so I thought what better to protect my face in the heat than a super cute, but full coverage parasol. My family laughed at me, and some were even embarrassed to be close to me in public (haha), but I got a lot of compliments from strangers and it worked perfectly. It is nice and light weight, so it barely felt like I was carrying it. I like that it comes with its own little bag, but will admit, at least for me, it was really difficult to fold back down and get it to wrap tightly, but I have never been good at that with this style of umbrella so anticipated the issue. I still managed to get it in the bag when necessary, and when the bag wasn't needed it is small enough to fold nicely and fit in my pocket. The bag is also cute and can be used for light weight items when you want to go out at night with a little something fancy (it's lace, but I would confidently use it to hold my phones and a small wallet with ID and a couple cards in it). It also perfectly holds the fan it comes with, which is really more decorative than practical. I purchased some other fans (to share with a couple family members if they needed) and it held them perfectly (4) and I could still get the parasol mostly in the bag (mostly is mainly because I am inept at refolding it down tightly, if I could get it to the tightness it was delivered in everything would have fit perfectly).100% love this purchase and it does a great job for sun coverage, I did not get any UV penetration through it and was outside for several hours and did not get any sort of tan on my face. This impressed me because I live about 536 ft above sea level, and our trip was up in the mountains where we ranged from 7000-9000 ft above sea level based on where we were each day, being that much closer to the sun you tend to tan a lot faster, so color me impressed that I maintained my paleness.

I purchased this for a photoshoot, and it worked well. It looks great and is durable for a variety of conditions. The design is super cute! Unlike other goth UV umbrellas, this one is large and sturdy. It feels fragile when closing, but it isn't a deal breaker. I love the carrying case it comes with! Folds up small, so they are easy to take out with you as a UV blocker.

The parasol was used for when I visited ren faire. I was pleasantly surprised to find a green and purple design inside the design. It cute! But for those who want something black all around, you may have to be a litte crafty and cover the markings with permanent maker or fabric paint. Its pretty sturdy and of a decent quality. I didn't deal with any loose seams and anything falling apart. Even blocked out the sun nicely and was large enough to use comfortably. I was even surprised with a hand fan! But, there is a TERRIBLE smell when first taking the product out. Highly recommend airing it out or wiping it down with a damp towel before use. That was my only issue with the product.

Friend had a funeral to go to and this came in very handy and looks great.

Actually good parasol, the fan is decent too, the bag it comes in is a little flimsy but is otherwise useful. The parasol itself is nicer than I expected. Works well for protecting from the harsh sun, but is also pretty cute and nice.

Pretty sure it actually broke in the process of closing after the first use rather than upon the opening the 2nd time. The holes that the mechanism uses are so thin that the pressure just snapped it. There's no fixing it. I originally gave those product a 3 star bc while it was obnoxious, it looked cute when open and kept the rain out. Just don't bother unless you're doing ONE photo shoot and are throwing it out after. Even at that ~ i personally don't recommend. Ended up getting a classic black U hook one that stands tall and doesn't fold up compact. Its says something like eco umbrella i believe and it is much better ~ not Lolita ~ but still cute and HIGH quality.

This was perfect! It is difficult to fully close it with the fastener, also not easy to lock it in the open position. But! I love the inside design and the look of the umbrella. Overall, I am very satisfied with the look and construction for a costume piece :)

It is very cute and it does have the UV sun protection feature which is my main purpose when I walk the dog. 3 stars not 5 because the handle is a bit short, it doesn't have an auto open button, it's a little difficult to lock open. So for every day use, it's only ok. But if buying for a fun event (Kentucky Derby), Halloween costume, etc. then it's great.
