I always find it difficult to get such as keys onto a split ring - or get them off again. These keychain cables are an excellent alternative and it's much easier to add keys, etc. to them. Being of strong steel material, they do tend to resist being bent over. The trick is to, as you bend the ends over, press the centre down against something, this makes it easier to line the ends up as you screw them together. I bought the shortest, at 4.3" in length, which are just right for replacing a split ring. I like the idea that if you want a longer length you can screw two or more together rather than have to buy longer ones. They're so useful for a variety of applications, not just for keys, and they are very strong too.

It is very strong and easy to use. I use it for my keys, my children use it to hand little charms on their bag and I use it for my work as well to hold my fobs.

This is a product which is probably much less than one percent of overall keyring sales but should be much much more.Its really just a keyring but is much easier to use than a split ring type. Its a multicoloured covered twisted wire which has a m/f screw at each end. It enables you to thread the ring through your keys rather than keys through the ring. Its easy to use and you can colour code a bunch of keys at the same time.It has other used too like hanging posters etc; you just have to punch a hole in the poster (or hanging etc), thread the wire through the hole and screw it closed and you can then hang it on a hook.They seem really strong and don't seem like they might break open. They hold a lot of keys and if you need more, they can chain together and make double or even triple sized rings. There are many other ideas on the website and its cheap enough to be worthwhile giving it a try.One small caveat is that, as a precaution, you should check that the rings are tightly screwed closed as its just possible that it they aren't they could undo after a while but mine has been fine.

Great size only one small issue is it would be better if both ends of the wires was same size as the thinner end as the screw end is slightly bigger meaning u need a split ring in the keyring first unfortunately but still absolutely love the size and quality of the wire key chain

Sturdy but too thick to put smaller keys on, plus once connected so to keep keys safe - it seems impossible to undo so to add new keys

Does wat it bought for no more no less. Okay for the money paid.
