I'm a lover of G-Shock watches and have a collection of 4 at the moment. Non of my G-Shock's have dual time display mode hence the reason i bought this. I have been on a 3 month trip to Pakistan and wanted a lightweight easy to wear watch. I tell you this little thing did not disappoint. Easy to ready and setup, lightweight and discreet on the wrist and did not stick to my wrist in the hot weather it was extremely comfortable and not out of place when worn with traditional attire. Big easy to read display with a backlight and full day with date. In the 3 months over there it has gained time by +50 secs which is not too bad in opinion. After watching a YouTube tutorial i have unlocked the timer function so it is now competing with my G-Shock's functionality. Water resistant in the shower, while having a wash and rain even after I've removed the back (I'm a normal person who doesn't scuba dive). I dropped it a couple of times while trying to put it on onto a hard tiled floor and it didn't break as i thought it would. TBH i think ive put this little cheap watch through more than my G-Shock's and it didn't disappoint. I know it's not built like them but completely fulfilled its purpose for what i needed. A great little watch that i don't think i could part with now and it sits on my dresser next to the big boys, its definately won a place in my heart and to think i bought it thinking i don't care if i lose it! Now i can't live without it. A great holiday watch which i won't hesitate to take again!

My original review didn't process, so I'm using this short review as a placeholder before writing something as in-depth again.Great bit of history and nostalgia for a good price.+ Bigger than the F-91, but not massive; pictures make it look a lot bigger than it really is.-/+ Be aware that the light isn't backlit like on the [model]. It's a little LED that's more yellow in tint than the green seen on pictures. It also doesn't light up the screen as impressively as can be seen on some other pictures; even in the dark.I've tried to illustrate this with my own pictures. Unfortunately it doesn't quite represent the truth of reality; you can see the light emitting from the bottom left, but it still looks strongly lit green.The light function only stays on for 1.5 seconds, you can't hold it like on the originals watches. It was tricky taking a picture of the light on as it turns off so quickly; I needed assistance. However, the brief flash of light keeps the battery going for many years (although not quite 10 as claimed) and it does feel tactical.+/- Strap is comfortable and easy to wash. The downside is that they never seem to last and this hasn't been changed in the 40 years they've been produced (though these are now made in PRC). I have hardly had this new watch long enough to say much about it. But this was a direct replacement for one of exactly the same model which I'd had for 3 years or so and, on the assumption that it will do the same job, I do think I can comment. I've found this model very serviceable. Its water resistance is excellent. I don't hesitate to swim with it on. Accuracy is far better than the makers claim of 30 seconds a month. My previous one might have gained or lost a second or two over 3 months, if that. The information display of day, date and month in addition to the obvious one of time is very useful, I find. The stopwatch works perfectly too. The alarm is loud enough for me, easy to set and completely reliable. Resin watch straps like this can have a fairly short life, I know from experience, but the one on this one's predecessor was undamaged after 3 years. Digital watches are not exactly things of beauty but I'm perfectly happy with the appearance of this one and prefer its styling to most others. For its modest price, I've had excellent service from this watch and can thoroughly recommend it.
