Does the job

This compound is very fine and needs a massive amount of elbow grease to get any results by hand. However, using it with a machine and fine mop really does produce an astonishing mirror finish. I did a black Audi TT and it was unbeleivable. It was so shiny and morror-like that people struggled to tell what colour the car was because it was so glossy.It takes time though, and the car needs to be spotless and paint fairly glossy already before you start and then this G10 takes it to the next level.If you need 80% of the results in half the time though I suggest to just go with the G3, which starts off coarser, but breaks down to achieve similar results.

I have been using this compund for years and thought you might like to see the results i took a before and after picture for you to see i bought the g10 and a polishing mop from different sellers to polish the headlights on a mk5 golf going in for mot as you can see it is amazing an only took 5 minutes per headlight and now my sister can see where she is going no excuses for hitting the odd dear or kirb i used the polishing unit with a cordless dewalt cordless drill and as i said only took 5 mins per headlight saved a fortune as now all street heard i got this they all want their fading cars headlights polishing i have also reviewed the polishing unit too

This G10 compound is the stuff proffessional bodyshops use and I can see why. I resprayed the bonnet and wing on a Porsche 944 using aerosols. Finish wasnt brilliant with a bit of orange peel in it so I rubbed it back with wet and dry (used wet) going from 400 grit progressively down to 2500 grit, then compounded it with Farecla G3 on a rotary polisher/mop which left it looking pretty damn good. Then used the G10 with a softer polishing pad and the finish was amazing. Made the rest of the car look a bit dull (which it actually wasnt) so I went over the rest with G10 as well using the rotary mop, and then gave it all a coating of polish. Now a mirror like finish which is amazing considering parts of it were painted with aerosols. Helped me blend the paint in so you really cannot tell.I would never use any other compound product other than the G3 and G10. Just make sure you use it wet so you dont burn the paint and you will get a great finish. G3 can be a bit harsh if your just polishing as it shifts 600 grit scratches ok, but if your not careful you can go through to the primer. Youd have to go at it hard with the G10 to do that. Can be used by hand with a damp cloth but so much easier with a rotary polisher.Highly recommended.
