Strong as hell!Love this product on a number of levels. In terms of effectiveness it is super concentrated and left on for too long would probably turn you a vibrant blue! Know your timings with this product and it’s your best friend. Personally I don’t use the gloves as leaving on for 2-3 minutes whilst in the shower enables hands to return to normal colour. On a ‘not putting damaging stuff’ on my hair note I also love this product. It’s ticks all the boxes on environmentally friendly/non toxic/not hurting animals level which only adds to its appeal. This product if respected for its strength is imo possibly the best on the market. Results entirely rely on working out how long you need to leave the product your hair. Get it right and it’s a bargain and superior in every way.

After using many purple shampoos on the market (including some very pricey ones), I decided to buy this a couple of weeks ago and didn’t realise how much of a staple this would become in the hair routine. I love it. I previously used on my hair to achieve an overall cooler tone to my balayage, which worked great. However, recently I did my roots at home (with help from a family member who is a hairdresser) due to lockdown and my roots went a little orangey. After one use this shampoo took out these brassy tones and achieved an overall silvery look to my whole hair, I didn’t even have to use a toner. If used weekly for 5 minutes this can rid any yellow tones and keep blonde hair looking freshers for longer. However, for those out there wanting to achieve a more overall silvery look, by adjusting the leave in time to 10-15 mins this is attainable and the difference is noticeable straight away. Because each hair reacts differently I would definitely suggest (as the instructions state) to build a tolerance to the shampoo, with first use having a low leave-in time (I had it on for 3 minutes the first time and still noticed a difference). This will also minimise the chances of turning your hair a more violet colour as opposed to blonde! Also, wear gloves - this stuff is the strongest I’ve ever tried on the market and can stain hands and finger-nails if not careful (& towels!). Overall; great price, effective product, perfect for blondes aiming to cool down their brassy tones or lengthen time in between root refresh’s at the hairdresser (hell do we need that right now). The only downside is, this product can be a little drying so I would recommend a weekly mask to minimise effects. The photos attached are 1) before 2) after 3) after in different lighting.

I Never ever leave reviews and i joy reading then j just never do.but this product this is worth it .I have really dark hair and I went all blond two days ago. It looked great for a day and then I noticed a brassy tone I really couldn’t stand. I am allergic to toner so all I was able to do bleach is my hair and then use purple shampoo. I have tried the very expensive Paul Mitchell before and I can tell you don’t waste your time or money. But this product right here game changer !I bought shampoo and conditioner . The shampoo I left for 10 minutes and it was super effective . I rinsed it it looked amazing ( and my hair was brassy brassy think slim shady and you get it) one thing I will say is that it does leave your hair feeling dull so you MUST get the conditioner for sure .I applied conditioner as well left for 3 minutes and rinsed it all out.And I am no longer brassy at all , my hair is so soft and so glorious and looks healthy.This purple shampoo and conditioner set does everything it says and promises and then some.Beyond happy and signed up for subscription.My hairdresser did recommend using purple shampoo with every other wash if you only use bleach and no toner and I ca guarantee you you will never have brassy hair again.

Im a previous red head addict - trying to go natraul. Still had bit of brassness in my hair. Definitely lightened my hair abit, but feel need couple more washes before I reach the color I'm hoping for.

Fantastic purple shampoo. Tried it on my husband’s and my own hair. We both have silver hair but his is soft and straight while mine is thick, coarse and curly. We used a clarifying shampoo before , which brightened the hair up massively anyway. Would strongly recommend a strand test. This is powerful stuff and the consistency, type and condition of your hair plays a massive part in the outcome.My husband’s hair went a gorgeous glittering silver after 5 mins. My curly hair locked in the colour after only 2 1/2 mins and shows a very slight blue cast. I originally tested it on my own for 5 mins and saw quite a distinct blue cast.Advice to curly girls is to test and start with a very small length of time in terms of leaving in. It can leave your hair feeling a little squeaky, like a squeaky clean feel, so I will only use as a pep up every couple of months or so. My husband’s straight hair can probably benefit for more frequent applications.The colour is great though, neutralises yellow and dull tones and if your hair is salt n pepper grey or you have varying tones of silver, the colour seems to make everything blend more. A lovely cool cast and a shiny result. Packaging is very cool and you get gloves for application. USE THEM. Definite thumbs up.

It didn't do anything with my hair.Not total waste of money, it did turn my mum greys to nice platinum. But not my bleached hair.

Worst product to buy ,it damaged my hair and my natural colour because it spread more then it shoud do . I have try to contact them and there is no option to access the website at least to discuss the quality or the expire date.
