Ideal for commute
Cycling on busy roads, I found it quite scary not knowing what's coming up behind. Once worked out, this was very easy to fit and works well.It doesn't stay in one place though as it doesn't seem possible to tighten, but I actually like this as can fold it in when not needed to reduce drag. It can be a bit fiddly to get back into position tho but I'm fine with this.Very pleased and would recommend.

Great value
I bought this after a previous mirror broke. It appears to be quite robust and the ability to move the mirror inboard, across the handlebar grip, is very useful and minimises the chance of accidental damage. The mirror is east to adjust however the view behind is not the greatest. Overall, for me, the mirror is a good compromise between rear visibility, likelihood of damage, adjustability and ease of use, although if I was commuting in busy city traffic I’d want a better view behind me.

Fitting on drop bars
Having tried a mirror with a flexible mount & noted a vibration issue I decided to try one of these fitting at the end of my drop bars. The mirror arrived quickly with the mount as a kit of parts, instructions are fairly clear, the mount replaces your existing bar end plug and can fit a range of bar sizes, once tightened up the mount was nice and secure.Mirror adjustment is easy and the ability to fold away is very handy when parking the bike, though it does mean you must re-align the mirror next time.In use the mirror does provide a stable image, though on drop bars a little smaller than I would have liked and in this configuration it is necessary to look down to view especially when on the upper bars. Its clear this mirror shape is designed for LHS fitting, so RHS fitting in the UK means the view is a little compromised.I`ve now been using this for over a year, it still works well and takes knocks without damage.Overall a nice mirror, not ideal for drop bars, but to date I`ve not found one that is.

A fantastic mirror...
UPDATE: Its been a few months since the replacement mirror arrived and I'm happy to say it's perfect. The first one was missing a screw, hence it's instability, but the replacement is an excellent mirror. I've been cycling several times a week often across rough ground and it stays in position and does exactly what it's supposed to. Highly recommended. This mirror would be perfect if it stayed in position! Sadly the one I received has a loose hinge, causing it to dangle uselessly rather than point to where it should. It was easy to put together and fit perfectly in the end of my mountain bike handlebars. Within seconds of fitting it the mirror had dropped from pointing out at 90 degrees to pointing at the floor at 180 degrees, rendering it useless. I kept manually adjusting it during my ride and when it was in the correct position it worked really well. I could easily fix the problem with some strong tape, but I shouldn't have to.I'll be returning the item and have ordered a replacement, so I will update once I've received it. Hopefully the new one will stay put and get a glowing review!

Excellent rear-view
I bought one of these and then four more for my friends. It is a truly excellent read-view mirror for a bar end, especially a small internal diameter bar. The high quality of the image, is supplemented by the right-angle bend upwards of the mirror support, protecting the mirror from inadvertent interference. It does inevitably protrude to the right, but can be flicked in easily, and then returned to its proper setting. An excellent product. Contributes hugely to safety. (Later edit: I should have added that my handlebars are tapered back and flat, not drop. My comments do not apply to drop handlebars).

Excellent rear view mirror
This a great little product. It fits into the handlebar and comes with different thicknessers. It rotates in all directions including collapsing inward if the falls on its side thus protecting it from breakage. It is easy to tighten to the desired firmness and the mirror is a good balance between curved and flat giving one a surprisingly long distance view behind the bike while not distorting the image too much. I have only installed it on my left handle but it is supposedly suitable for the right too.

Great little mirror, once you are used to it.
All bike mirrors are a bit of a compromise, between the rear view angle, the effective sweet spot for the viewer, and the size on the bar. This solves it nicely with an asymmetric shape. Once you get the hang of the mechanics, with its 4 degrees of freedom, you can find a position that covers most of the active part of the road, i.e. catching sight of things that might hit you. Aim to have the main axis on a diagonal so that a bit of head movement can accommodate the dead spots. It takes some practice, including anticipation of your riding position. If you stand up on the pedals a lot you will likely jump out of the viewing angle, so bear that in mind. Once you tune the stiffness appropriately on all the joints (a bit of a fiddle to do, maybe needing to dismount the whole thing to adjust the internal screw), you'll be able to find a setting that is both easily adjustable and which doesn't flop out of hold due to vibration from your ride.

Rearview Mirror for bicycle
Bought this as a replacement & have found it superior to its predecessor. Easy to fit on handlebar &, so far, it has stayed put. Great product, would recommend!
