Can’t recommend enough ! Haven’t had to change the water in my koi pond for 9ish months and after a long winter the water quality was getting the fish stressed slightly . I don’t me half water change but still not amazing . Bought these as I had used before and again it done the trick ! Few smal handfuls spread out over my 3000 gallon pond and 2 days later the water is crystal and the fish look so much happier . 2 weeks on and water is still crystal clear and all levels are nominal . Shear brilliance !

I find this a really useful product and use it regularly to keep the pond sparkling clean. However, if your pond is very murky(i.e. pea soup like!), it may not work. I ended up having to completely empty my old pond and start again when this product was unable to clear the water.Please be aware that this product is quite expensive and you will need to keep using if you want to maintain your sparkling pond. Also do remember to regularly clean your pond pump and filter (if you have them) as this will also impact on the quality of the water.

Albeit a little more expensive as the years go on it really works and fills the filter with good bacteria. Never have a problem in my larger pond and I have brought a few of these over time.

I combine using this and Blagdon Pond Balance to prevent algae building up in the pond during Spring and Summer. I pop some of the balls into the pond filter and some also into a mesh bag which I weigh down and drop into the pond. It doesn't completely eliminate algae, but it does keep it very manageable and the pond water nice and clear. Great product!
