You need to drill an inflow hole
The butt is made from recycled plastic, which is good, but it is much thinner and lighter than my other butts. When it was delivered it was somewhat misshapen but as I anticipated when filled with water it pretty much regained its shape. It warns against the risk of ice damage so given its thinness I will empty it over the winter, unlike my others. Be aware you will need an appropriate drill to make an inlet hole, none is provided. And it is black, as in the main picture, not green as in the description.

Brilliant water butt
Really pleased with this water butt, it was easy to drill the hole on the side for the overflow pipe and now I can add a second one if I need to. Definitely recommend. Was well packaged with no damage on delivery

Busted Butt!
Ours came from Charlies Direct, which was a bit of a joke really since they are just up the road, but it took longer to arrive than another item purchased from abroad! And when it did arrive, opened the bag to be greeted by a cloud of cement dust! Not the best of starts. Gingerly took it out of the bag to find cement dust all inside the water butt and all around the top. Then I discovered the tap was broken! Checked inside the bag, no sign of the broken piece of tap, but the bag was completely intact! Brilliant! Could only mean the water butt was packed with a damaged tap, and I can only assume whoever packed it did not want to get covered in cement dust themselves so simply dumped it in a bag as quickly as possible without checking the butt for damage. To be fair Charlies replied quickly and offered to replace the water butt or send a replacement tap and refund the postage. I opted for the latter, which added a further week to the whole delivery schedule waiting for the tap, but then the week was spent repeatedly washing out the water butt!As for the water butt itself, I'm a little uncertain. It is very light weight so I don't have great expectations on its life expectancy. As stated by another reviewer the lid is total rubbish and I really don't see the point of the lock since the lid is so flimsy anyway. I, like he, won't be locking it, and I'm pretty sure if you purchase one you won't be using the lock either. That said, the price was good at pennies under £25 including postage, and let's be honest - water butts are incredibly over-priced for what is little more that moulded plastic! I wouldn't pay more for this particular 120ltr model and I see the price has already gone up!It's okay, nothing more, if you really can't find anything of this size for less than £25 including delivery, I wouldn't pay more than that for it, I'd be looking for something of a heavier gauge plastic if I was spending £30+ on it!

Very sturdy
Water butt arrived earlier than expected, well packaged and with tap already fitted. Initially no problems but within a day the butt started to leak around the washer where the tap enters the butt. I managed to tighten this which means that the tap is actually at an angle though this isn't an issue.Currently it is an intermittent problem and manageable so I will have to wait and see.
