Information Dashboard Design: Displaying Data for At-a-Glance Monitoring

This is a great practical book to help create simple, easy to understand dashboards for data presentation. A lot is common sense but only after you have seen it 1st. I now look at all those car dashboard type displays and sigh - knowing that the authors could have made them so much clearer if only they had bought this book.

For anybody that wants to learn the basics about presentation of data!

I love this book - bullet graphs are excellent graphical information carriers, given the space they take up. Looking forward to using the infoin this book to refine our dashboards. Also advocated by Stacey Barr, another one of my favourite performance measurement experts.

Excellent - I knew that this was required reading fro anyone just beginning in Dashboard design and that has proven to be the case.

The information in this book is reasonably useful, however the illustrations are utterly poor - too low resolution. For a book that focuses on these very interfaces, it's a big con.

i've been using stephen few books for years and owe a lot of my design ideas at work down to it. would highly recommend.

Great book, but why such a low image resolution for illustrations? The first edition had very fine quality printing, which is necessary for a book like this.
