Peltor Comtac I & II Arc Rail Adapter - Shooting Ear Protection Helmet Adapter for Tactical Headset

I have these mounted on a work helmet and with Howard Leight’s for hearing protection. They work and we’re easy to install like others I’ve used before.They do feel flimsy or cheap, but so far they’ve held up to being used and haven’t broken….yet.

Purchased these to fit my walkers onto arc rails. The mounts fit into arc rails without an issue and can move the muffs off ears to the top of head or the rear. But plastic parts give plastic results. The mounts do not fit walkers ear protection. I saw a review that said to squeeze the bits to retain the ear pro. In doing that, it snapped off. I wouldn’t purchase unless you are sure it will snap right into your gear.

3 stars only because one clip came broken, which, while not the end of the world because I had spares from the headset I bought with this, it’s still inconvenient if I wanna switch between helmet setup and straight headset. DISCLAIMER: The damage was to the actual clip ‘handles’ not the whole piece itself, one handle had just snapped off rendering the entire piece useless, but this very well may have happened in transit and not from the distributor.I would still buy again because other than the aforementioned issue, this is still a high quality product with zero issues

Over all it worked great. My one complaint is that the mic mount didn't allow the mic to snap in place but was pressure fit and my mic fell off a couple of times.

First off, these are just a fraction of the cost of the popular branded ones so that in itself convinced me to purchase these. I watched a YouTube video where a guy modified an old set of ear protection to make it work on his helmet and I tried to replicate it and lo and behold, it worked. I modified an old Remington ear pro set I had and had no issues. I didn’t even have to use the clips that came with the adapter and used the ones that are already on the ear pro. The only issue I have is the ear pros don’t sit snug on my ears but it will still do the job. For the price, I won’t complain.

These were extremely loose and pretty much didn’t stay on at all on my Protection Group Denmark helmet with real arc rails. Tried two sets and both were the same spec and too large. They pop in and out and rotate, one set was not stiff enough even when tightened and when rotated backwards would rotate down again with any movement. When popped in, provided some pressure but not nearly the same as legit peltor adaptors. If you’re playing airsoft they’ll be ok as long as you find a way to make them fit your rails. Not sure if they’ll fit the rails Amazon sells or are on the Amazon bump helmets.

A part so simple. How can they possibly screw these up? Let's dive into how. They DO NOT fit arc rails correctly! 1 side was snug how it should be the other was loose and sloppy. Almost enough slop you could remove it without sliding it. They DO NOT hold the ear pro tight to your ears (even on the side that fit the rail correctly.).Quiet simply I wouldn't purchase these again and would return them if I had all the packaging still.Spend the $75 and get the real thing! The 3m peltor arc rail mounts do exactly what they are supposed to and fit exactly how they should.
