Deeply disappointed
I wore this perfume for years and loved it. Distribution stopped and wasn't able to purchase it at retail stores like I normally did. The perfume offered on Amazon through this vendor was not the same scent, returned item. Deeply disappointed.

Holds its own or layers with other scents
This is the only perfume that I have ever had to replace. I usually get tired of scents or they go out of style or season before I get to the end of the bottle. Not the case with La Maison de la Vanille Noir de Mexique. I wear this year round and it layers well with my soap, lotions, and even other perfumes. There are several different vanilla scents that La Maison offers, but this has been my absolute favorite. My chemistry tends to turn perfume to yuck, but I can put this directly on my skin & it reacts beautifully. Not too sweet vanilla & a tad bit smokey undertones makes this scent mysterious and ultra sexy. I'm forever in love.

wears close to skin - sophisticated side of vanilla
Used to love Bohista (& so did the men) but that was discontinued. I set out on a search to find a new signature scent and stumbled across this in 2009. I absolutely fell in love. The men seem to appreciate it too! I have allergies and sometimes this affects them but it smells so good I endure it or pop a pill.I also like that after the dry down, it wears close to the skin. others can smell it but not so loud it's annoying (like when some people leave the room and their cologne/perfume is still there - I HATE THAT!!) When a person gets close, they usually comment on how good I smell (men and women).

This is MY scent
I have worn this eau de toilette for years. I love this scent and will never not have it. The vanilla is a dream and the smell lasts all day

Perfect vanilla
I used to wear this scent in middle school. I was worried it was going to be expired or a fake but it smells exactly how I remember. Like fresh vanilla ice cream. So good. Great lasting time.
