Great childminding resource
Good fun, educational and can, of course, weigh any toys within reason. We got it with the measuring worms and together they are balancing stuff but also rescuing the teddies from the killer see saw.

Good initial weighing product
Great resource to help with weighing for younger children. Good also to use to practise number bonds and more/less activities. Its great to have the counting bears included, which allow you to teach a wide range of activities. The balance scales are good quality and fit together easily. A lovely product to help children understand the initial concept of weight

Not very durable
Will probably only do for the bears

Very basic
This is a very basic balance and is a fine introduction for youngsters to balancing different weights and sorting colours.

So many ways to play!
I purched this and the set of weighing bears for my 2 year old who loves using my scales. He loves it! He weighs the bears and trys to get the scales to balance, lines up the bears, sorts them into colours and puts them into families. So many ways to play! He can now count to 20 perfectly after playing with these.

A good discovery toy
My granddaughter really liked this and quickly grasped the concept of making the scales balance. She is beginning to understand that you can use other items to also make the scales balance.

Poor quality
Poor quality. The children have already broken it. Not fit for purpose. Probably suitable for home environment but has not stood up to preschool use

great class room scale
This is great scale for teaching Algebra. It is sensitive enough to move for a small item like a paper clip.

A basic concept primitively introduced
It's okay. Either the weights are off or the scale is fundamentally flawed. If you put two equal weights on each side, the scale will tip depending on where each one is place on the plates. The heavier weights are exponentially noticeable. It's actually quite perturbing to allow a young mind to learn so primitively, but I suppose the idea of this product is to simply introduce the concept of weight and balance. Because of that very basic introduction to a basic concept, I don't entirely hate the product.

Great balancing scale for preschool/ toddlers
Product was exactly as pictured, easy to put together and use. My only con is it is a bit hard to take apart as I will travel this scale.
