Charlie Eau de Toilette - Silver - 100 ml

Received many compliments on this scent. Used to use the red Charlie, but this is my new everyday favourite. Good price too.

I love Charlie perfumes for every day use.

I was given this perfume as a present some time ago. It is not something that I would normally choose, but I decided to give it a go as my favourite expensive perfume was nearly running out and I didn't want to waste it. I was impressed by the quality of this perfume and continued to use it on a day to day basis until it finished. When I came to the end of the bottle I decided to buy some more and was shocked at the price. I didn't realise that it was so reasonably priced. I would never have thought that it was so cheap to buy, as the quality, as I mentioned before, was very good. The scent lasts all day and depending on how strong a scent you like , one spray is more than enough, in my opinion.I like perfume to be very subtle but I presume it's all down to individual preference. Now that I know how cheap it is, I have actually put the bottle downstairs in the hallway so anyone can use it as they are leaving the house, so you can afford to be liberal with it. When friends come round, I've seen them spray a little on their coats etc as they are leaving. I can objectively say that the scent is good as all my friends like different types of perfume and all of them have said this smells nice.My husband hates the smell of strong perfume, especially floral and sweet scents. He has not complained once about this one.(or may be he's just given up!)In my opinion, the smell itself is quite intense, crisp with wood and bitter citrus notes, like grapefruit but not grapefruit. I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone but that's how I would describe it.I would say the scent is quite neutral as it has very little floral notes. I would say that it is like a unisex fragrance, a bit like ck one but obviously with a different smell.I would however say perfume choices and suitability are totally unique to the individual, in the sense that you either love them or hate them. I think perfumes also smell different on different people, due to them mixing with an individual's natural body smell. I don't know about you, but I have sometimes loved a fragrance one of my friends is wearing , but when I check it out for myself at the shop, it doesn't smell so nice anymore.(and no, I am no more smelly than the next person, in case you're wondering!) I would advise going to a department store to try them out before you buy off the internet especially if you are planning on buying something pricey.Overall for Charlie White isa great product for the price and good enough for daily use.I have posted a picture to show how far it goes-100ml bottle.Been used for about 6months, approx 2 sprays per day. Less than a fifth of the bottle gone. Superb value.

It smells devine. I've been wearing it since the 70's, I get lots of comments on how lovely it is and people of a certain age smile as they remember it from their youth. It's just as lovely now as it was then, perfect.

I’ve never seen the silver Charlie before I only have the red which is nice has every day perfume but this particular silver one is really nice 😊.

I have used this Charlie Gold for a long while, and unlike every other eau de toilette, even perfume that I have used, I can still smell it, and this is the fragrance that lasts the longest. It blends with my own and long term friends can also still smell it and I regularly get compliments about it. The fragrance remains on my coats, jackets and other garments that i don't wash every other day for a very long time as well, it is worth adding that it never stained any clothing either. It deserves 10 stars in my opinion, a fantastic value especially for the price.
