Solid Choice for Everyday Protein Needs
I’ve been using Applied Nutrition Whey Protein for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my daily routine. As someone who’s tried a variety of protein powders over the years, I appreciate how straightforward and effective this one is. Here’s my honest take:Taste and Mixability:I went with the cereal milk flavour , and it’s pleasantly mild—not overly sweet or artificial, which I really like. It blends well with water, milk, or even smoothies. The texture is smooth, not chalky, which makes it easy to drink.Ingredients and Nutrition:The ingredient list is clean, with no unnecessary fillers or additives. Each serving packs a solid 21g of protein, which is perfect for post-workout recovery or as a snack between meals. I also appreciate that it’s low in sugar and doesn’t leave me feeling bloated, which has been an issue with some other brands I’ve tried.Effectiveness:I’ve noticed a difference in my energy levels and muscle recovery since incorporating this into my routine. It’s not a miracle product, of course, but it does what it’s supposed to do—provides a convenient source of protein to support my fitness goals. I’ve used it after workouts and as a quick breakfast option, and it keeps me full without weighing me down.Value for Money:While it’s not the cheapest option on the market, I think the quality justifies the price. You’re getting a reliable product with good taste and clean ingredients, which is worth the investment in my opinion.

Tastes Just Like a Milkshake – Great Size & Easy on the Stomach
Me and my wife absolutely love the salted caramel flavour—so tasty it genuinely feels like you’re having a treat rather than a protein shake. We mix it with milk and it turns out smooth, creamy, and delicious every time. The 2kg tub is great value for money with plenty of servings to last a while, especially if you’re using it daily. It mixes well with both milk and water depending on your preference—milk for a creamier shake, or water when you want something lighter. It’s also really easy to digest—no bloating or heaviness after drinking, which is a big plus for us. Excited to try more flavours soon!

Great shake and value for money
I’ve been trying different protein shakes and this white bueno flavour is one of my favourite ones I’ve come across so far. It’s great with water for those wanting low calorie shakes, even better with milk. I recommend around 400ml of water/milk, granted you can have more if you wanted but I find that to be the best consistency personally. Great flavour, not grainy like some shakes are and great value for money. Would definitely recommend this one.

Taste, quality, great macros
Tastes amazing, even when mixed with water it makes a lovely creamy thick consistency ( tastes like it’s been made up with milk) rich sweet taste, subtle on the bueno taste but overall a lovely creamy shake. Macros on point not quite as much protein Compared to gold standards 24g, but super low carb and sugar. Mixes really good in a standard shaker. Will be getting it again!

Custard flavour isn't the one for me
I have tried 2 other flavours of AN's protein powder and this is the worst one I have had. If I were to describe the taste, it would be that it kind of tastes like how nail polish smells? A sort of undertone of acetone. My solution is to either use it with Greek yoghurt to make a thick high protein dessert, or add some lemon/orange/vanilla flavouring in.

HONEST REVIEW ABOUY MULTIPLE FLAVOURS
Been with applied nutrition for about 3 years now, as they are the only shakes I've actually liked in the last 12 yrs, annoying thing is any batches before 2023 are not great to mix, the powder seems rubbish and chalky. However, they have improved there powder massively since, the basic 3 flavours (Choc, Strawberry, Vanilla) are alot better too. Unfortunately I had a pre 2023 batch the other month in vanilla and it was annoying because it mixed rubbish but luckily it still tasted okay.- White chocolate Beuno is by far the best.- Chocolate Beuno is good, not very chocolatey at all though.- Vanilla Ice cream is very nice, batches after 2023.- Cinnamon Bun is 100% RANK!! 🤢! So disappointed in this flavour.- Strawberry is very good, batches after 2023.- Chocolate is good, batches after 2023.Hope this helps a few people. Honestly, you won't be disappointed. Just don't get this rank flavour. Needs removing from the shelf ASAP 🤢.
