That sinking feeling... but on dry land a scrum
The product is suited for birds that are being bred or who have ample land mass to feed on. The local ducks here are used to thrown food that floats and this sinks, so whilst I would recommend it if you keep ducks, swans of geese, its not for throwing into the pond. We have tried it in the hedgerows and our local tits and robins absolutely love it. However after being somewhat disappointed with the response from our local ducks who are more interested in Sunblest, we took a bag up to the local loch where there are a lot of very healthy looking swans, geese and ducks. It was a complete contrast as the birds went absolutely mental over it, and were practically in a scrum for it. We had taken up two brands, and of the two this was the product they were after. Two geese practically hunted us down and one of them when my partner presented the bird with the 2nd feed we had brought which was all we had left, actually pecked at him in outrage as if to say, I don't want that, I want the fancy fowl feed, so it just goes to show that this feed is very much enjoyed if you can feed it to birds on dry land, and its definitely not suited to throwing in the pond as its too small and sinks. On dry land the birds hoover it up and love it.

Good product
My geese seem to enjoy the food, food sized pellets that seem easy for them to eat.

The ducks love it!
The media could not be loaded. ducks love it…what more is there to say 😁 This is feed for the ground NOT to throw in the water, as not floating duck food. I think it’s much better to feed them on the ground anyway 😁 Highly recommend, really good price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good value
So far so good only used twice, ducks geese coots & even the seagulls took to it straight away but swans seem unsure at the moment. Wasn’t sure if I should buy as reviews are mixed . Good value for money compared to the floating food, this is not meant to be thrown into the water. Use for the wild water birds in our local woods unfortunately with it snowing today too many people are there feeding them with white bread.

Ducks love it
I have a large natural pond in my garden with some ducks on and I thought keep giving them bread wasn't good for them so decided to buy some proper food for them.Well they love it! Also I didn't realise fish were in the pond until I threw some of this food in and now I can see that the fish also come for some grub too.Great size bag for a good price.

Something changed, birds no longer like it
We have been buying this feed for 5 years on a monthly basis. The last two months, the make up of the feed has changed. The result is that the ducks and other birds are no longer eating this feed. It is now darker in colour and has a stronger odour than previously.

Took a few days but they like it now
Bought as feed for about 30 mallard. When I first offered this food they just kinda looked at me. Offered it again with some mixed corn and after a few days some of the ducks started taking the pellets in preference to the corn. A week in and they all seem to like it now.It does sink but I throw it into about 12inch deep water and they hoover it up from the river bed, which they're used to doing with the corn.Gulls, crows and pigeons have been seen nibbling at any crumbs I spill on the bank...

Nothing eats this, This was resolved with a refund
Does not float, ducks swans moorhens didn't eat one pellet, awful, a waste of my good earned money, says waterfowl and doesn't float !!! nothing will eat this even the gulls, or the fish in the lakes wont eat it either, nor my garden birds No Birds Like This Produce would return but probably at a cost to me, very disappointed, not fit for what this is "Sold as" purpose,The company resolved the issue therefore I gave 3 stars for the quick response in dealing with this matter. there may have been a mix up with the food so they are going to contact me with details so they themselves can find out what went wrong either wrong food or unsuitable food. good seller dealing with it quick and successfully
