These are great
Bought these to add in with my elderberries to make syrup. They tasted wonderful and added the extra touch my syrup needed.

Super healthy but the taste is hard to love
I’ve read that these little berries are extremely good for you. I’d also read that they may be a little tart. They aren’t tart as much as incredibly bitter. Apart from that they are beautifully harvested, dried and packaged.

Taste like tree bark. Not sour or bitter.
I tried for 1st time. I expected to have a taste as I've read can be sour or bitter. These are like I imagine tree bark to be. I've soaked for 2 nights. Now they're slightly bigger but like wet tree bark. I don't know if I got a bad bag or what. I tried adding to yogurt with honey. I just can't eat them.

Glad to have tried before buying plants
Found this product to be similar in texture to raisins. Tossing 30-40 dried berrys straight into your mouth leaves a dry wine like impression (slightly tannic) after swallowing you can taste some of the sweetness and a faint floralness, not bitter to my taste as some reviews have stated. These are what I expected from a food as medicine view point. If you’re expecting blue berry sweetness or acidity this is not that berry, it is its own berry.

As expected
Aronia berries are called choke berries for a reason; they were not created to be tasty! Don't order them and leave a bad review because they do not taste good. No one ate choke berries for their flavor! They are extremely high in antioxidants; over 10 times higher than blueberries. Enjoy the health benefits you're not supposed to enjoy the flavor. Just add a healthy sweetener, or better yet get used to the acquired taste, and Bon Appétit!
