Great Sue Storm action figure
This is hands down the best Invisible Woman/Sue Storm figure made to date. The figure itself has the same quality joints & articulation we've come to expect from the Marvel Select line. At just $2-3 more than the Marvel Legends figures, this is a steal. The real treat with this figure is the head/face sculpt. They've made great strides toward creating life-like features with their 3-D image capture. The head sculpt for this figure reminds me of GOT star Natalie Dormer. The figure also comes with a stand and power effects accessories. I highly recommend this figure to collectors out there.

Top Figure, a Must Have
Best invisible woman figure. If you are looking for a figure of great quality and great looking, look no further. Highly recommended. Superior to any other Sue Storm figure I have seen, especially the head sculpt.

The Best Sue Storm Invisible Woman Figure?
Hey, it's been a while since I posted a figure review, but I just received my second Marvel Select Sue Storm from Diamond Select. Now, I didn't buy a second one because I was so enamored by the figure, I had to initiate a replacement because the right elbow hinge disc came severed inside the forearm, so that when I went to bend the elbow for the first time, the forearm and hand came off like I was casually flicking a wall light switch. š So this review with pics is based on my second experience today, when I got the replacement. Incidentally, I've decided to keep the first figure I received so I can use the head as a head replacement for my new McFarlane Toys Supergirl Figure. So this Sue Storm figure is a little less than 7 inches. She looks great as you can see in the pics. Alot of people have complained about the face portrait, because she looks too stern, too "dangerous", and not light hearted enough. I don't recall Sue Storm being a bundle of joy and silliness when I read any of the comics. She was the grounded female member of the team, the one who had her head on her shoulders right. People must be confusing her for her brother, Johnny Storm The Human Torch. HE'S the quip-cracker of the team. So this serious expression doesn't bother me at all. A friendly smiling head portrait would've been great, but I didn't deduct the one star for that. But before I go into my problems with this figure, let me speak positively. The figure is beautiful and looks awesome with the "invisible" components, and it does come with A-LOT, of components. She has six sets of hands; three sets of black gloved hands, and three sets of clear "invisible" hands. Each type are the same sets basically. So there's two sets of fists, open hands, and gripping hands. She has two sets of legs, also. Clear and black booted legs. She comes with a fist orb which is split in half, and goes over one of the invisible gripping hands, so it looks like she's going to throw a force field punch. The biggest accessory component is the cool looking force blast base you can plug her feet onto, so it looks like she's standing in it, which brings me to the best component of the package deal . . . the force shield hand. This is a solid one piece that plugs into her right wrist outlet, because the hand for it is built into the shield, as one mold. Once plugged in it looks like she's generating a shield of protection. We've seen this before with the Marvel Legends Vintage Line Invisible Woman, but this force shield makes the Marvel Legends version look like kiddy-stuff. This one is a seriously cool and well designed accessory, and the accessories show Marvel Legends what they should be doing by now. Diamond Select is offering ALL of these accessories with a 7 inch figure, for $29.99. Hasbro is currently issuing either NO ACCESSORIES or one change of hands and a gun for $24.99 for their 6-inch figure line. When they DO offer more of their tiny accessories, you wind up paying $39.99 for a 6-inch figure set . . . you need to get it together Hasbro, Diamond has you beat with their equation. Of course, we come to the dark side of Marvel Select, as Diamond Select can now rear it's scowling, jealous head . . .I deducted the one star because even though this second delivery turned out alright, I still had a problems with it. Sue's left ankle joint was frozen stiff, and fearing for another broken joint, I boiled some hot water and popped the foot off, to wiggle the ankle joint. But I had to re-boil the water again, because it didn't work. The second time I worked it loose without any breakages, but this is a HUGE problem that Diamond Select has always given to me right outta the package. My first Select figure was X-Men's Colossus. I had to buy a second one because his knee was fused and before I knew anything about the boil water and fix the joint method, the knee was broken. I had to buy the Age Of Ultron Black Widow figure TWICE because of a hip joint that was severed right out of the box, and the right bicep of my Gladiator Hulk from Thor Ragnarok was loose and wouldn't stay on the peg. The only figure that I bought ONCE, and it was PERFECT with the first purchase, was my Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select: Thanos Infinity Action Figure. So far, that is the best Marvel Select Figure ever made, hands down. The paint job, the sculpt, and NO joint problems. This Sue Storm comes in a close second to Thanos, and gets the one star ding mostly because of the QC issues. The rest of the Figure is pretty good. The one star deduction also has a bit to do with the joints again, as well as the LACK of joints. There are NO double joints on this figure. I really thought that going into the third decade of the new century that toy companies would ALL be taking advantage of double jointed arms and knees. This figure has NO double joints on it, so her knee joints make her look knobby-kneed. The face portrait doesn't escape the scrutiny either, even though I don't have a problem with Diamond's choice of expression, I included a comparison pic for the preview/prototype pic and the In-Hand pic. I really wish they would finally get modernized at Diamond Select, and start using some "dot-matrix" computer precise paint methods, because I'm a little disappointed that she doesn't look as precisely beautiful as that prototype figure paint scheme. Not to say she didn't turn out beautiful, and that I'm not satisfied overall with the figure, but y'know š®āšØ she doesn't look so "witchy" and "mean" in the prototype pics . . . Now that's all just the negative.Overall, I graded this purchase 4 stars for alot of good reasons. I felt spoiled with the accessories for the price-point. This figure can intermix with any 7 inch scale figure you have. There's one figure line that comes to mind that can work well with Marvel Select. McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures. I threw in some Sue Storm pics with her standing next to some of my comic accurate figures from McFarlane. Knightfall Batman, my Batgirl figures, both Damian Wayne Robin and Carrie Kelly Robin, Batwoman, The Joker, DC Essentials Captain Marvel, and my Hush Superman and Rebirth Supergirl . . . the only McFarlane DC Mulitverse figures she doesn't really look right with are the Movie figures he makes. But those don't even look right when standing next to the comic book based figures from DC Multiverse. š¤·āāļø I highly recommend trying this figure out if you're looking at purchasing her, she's worth it. Just remember to boil some water and dunk those joints if you run into a joint snag.

Great figure.
Would have been a perfect score but I naively went with a āWarehouse/Returnā option because it was $2 cheaper and of course that meant some sheister stole something out of it then returned it. Which in this case was her āinvisibleā base/force field. Itās pretty sad that people do this. Whatās even more sad is they take the time and hassle to buy something, steal a piece out of it (sometimes something as simple as the figures extra hands or a batarang or whatever), seal the figure back up and return it. I guess it couldāve been worse. Iāve seen the reviews where someoneās gotten a completely swapped out figure.
