I bought this watch while my usual tritium watch was being serviced. I need something that I can read at night. I expected to receive a cheap and nasty pile of junk but I was completely wrong. I’m really impressed by the quality of this watch, which is outstanding for the price. It was easy to set up, has kept exact time to the second since and the illumination function is brilliant, albeit slightly too bright when I operate it after waking up! - this last point is nit picking though. Even if it only lasts a year, it represents superb VFM at under 13 quid. Very happy with purchase and highly recommended.

Use this watch for work and general use, outdoors a lot in all weathers and so far no problems. Added a screen protector to stop face from getting scratched.Basic watch but has everything you need for day to day use, with large and clear display. Backlight is genuinely really bright and strap is of good quality and looks like it can be replaced.Given 4 stars only as does loose a bit of time as need to reset every couple of months, plus stopwatch had been running constantly when delivered, but battery seems to be holding up so far.

The watch fits its purpose - enables my son to keep track of time where mobile is not available - at school and in training.

The watch is nice and chunky, feels robust. The numbers are easy to set up and very clear. All in all feels very good for outdoor use. I like the light too. Time will tell how long it lasts but for the price who cares!

This watch has big big digits and buttons, just the quickest glance and you know the exact time. Day/Date/month and seconds big too. Everything big and easy to use. simple to set up. Good stop watch with big buttons ( did i mention it is big). Only wore it in shower, don't know about swimming in it etc. Pedantic me thinks the luminous display light could stay on a second more in dark, when you press one of the ( big) buttons, but that's just me getting old i suppose. No brainer purchase me thinks.Nearly one year on. Lost 45 seconds in nearly six months then reduced to 9 seconds. Keen heavy DIY with it and glass/face still fantastic. Bathed and been out many times in pouring rain -no problem. Hardly ever off my wrist, unless I wear one of my Rolex watches. Everyday watch-beautiful. Light still good and helps at night. What can I say. This is for me unbelievably good value. Very versatile and accurate/robust. Plastic strap still good and does not smell half as much as rubber. This is a no-brainer buy for me. It is utterly fantastic !!!

This is a basic and decent watch. However, I'm now on my third as the strap has broken on both after about 2 years.

I am not one for writing Amazon reviews so soon after receiving an item, there is little point in doing so that can give any degree of positive accuracy and will not do so here, a later edit maybe.However, I could not find actual case/face measurements in the reviews I read, I knew it was going to be large, believe me the watch is BIG!.Case size is 47mm, watch face/dial is 40mm.Reasonably easy to set up, the instructions are one of the better direct translations from Chinese to English I have encountered.My everyday watch I am repairing, waiting for a part so required something cheap that will make do for a few weeks and as a go to when doing mucky work.The strap is long and should fit most wrists, it is not rubber but resin material.If strap were to break, it is possible to replace it.The battery is large, a standard CR 2032 and comes supplied but it will be a cheep variety and may not last, easy enough for DIY replacement but suggest replacing with a Duracell or Varta Brand, the type typical in Vehicle Key Fobs.The numerals are big and easy to read in normal mode and the green back light is bright enough, stays on for 3 seconds, any longer and frequent use of, the wearer I imagine would be replacing the battery more often.Water resistant, ( not proof ), to 5 ATM, ( 50 feet ), don't now if claim is accurate, no reason as yet to doubt it.Cheap watch, not elegant, very large, Very light, ( which I hate ), initial thoughts, pleasantly surprised.
