I read some reviews and saw some people talking about it being too sheer so I was worried, but took a chance. It actually is super great and dark. The only light the shines through is the top, but that's because my light is literally right on top of it, so that's to be expected. Other than that, no light comes through and it's actually so dark that I had to install little string lights inside so I could still have some light when I want without having to turn the entire bedroom light on.The material is very similar to a shower curtain so that was a bit odd, but it works because its super thin, so I don't have to worry about it getting too hot inside during the summer.The length of the curtains compared to my frame was a bit too long, so I ended up cutting off about 6inches from the bottom, so they don't drag on the floor.Installation was very simple, though I needed a second person to help me install the top part.The photos show that the hanging rope and hooks are white, but mine were actually black, which was 100x better anyways. The photos also show the corner ties are white, but mine were black & gold which looked so elegant. There's clearly a difference between what is shown versus what you get, but I preferred what I received so it was a great surprise. Though some people might prefer white, so letting you know.You also don't have to install the curtains exactly the way as shown in the photos if it doesn't work for you! There's 3 curtains total, 1 that covers the entire headboard + half the sides, then 2 that cover the other halfsides + footboard. So instead of having openings in the middle of the bed like shown in the photos, I actually moved the curtains down more to have the opening near the head of my bed, so I can reach outside and grab stuff off my nightstand.

I love the "Black Canopy Bed Curtains," that I purchased from Amazon! They are of high quality fabric. And just as in the product description when they say that when you have them all down, "not tied around the posts," they are truly capable of creating a blackout effect. It's like your in your own comfy cave. I also absolutely love the fact that the product comes with a top covering most all the others that I looked at only offered Curtains for the sides, so that was a huge plus. Lastly they overall add a bit of class to my bed as well as my room. My new canopy curtains for my bed make me feel like someone special like, a Greek Gooddess. My only issue is, that my three little kittens continuously attempt to climb the curtains...the material is durable enough for that to happen but I can't/won't allow it because even though they are strong enough I don't want to risk getting snags of any kind from their claws on my beautiful new bed canopy! I highly recommend the "Black Canopy Bed Curtains!" Maybe not having to battle three adorable kittens though.

This was my first time shopping for canopy curtains, I read the reviews and I decided to try it out and I actually quite enjoy them! It took a moment to get the curtains assembled together, but the instructions are simple. At first I was concerned about the curtains as the materials felt pretty thin so I was worried that it may either be damaged quite easily or doesn't black out at all, but it's safe to say that neither of those has happened. It's been a month since I purchased this product and it's held up quite nicely, the curtains aren't completely black out but it does provide lots of shade and block out quite a lot of light within my room so it serves it purpose well! The only issue that I do have with the product is the length of the curtains as it's quite long and drags onto the floor, my canopy bed frame is for a full bed and I purchased the twin/full product for reference. It's not a huge issue , but it would be nice if it was a few inches shorter so not only it doesn't drag on the floor nor be a nuance when moving the curtains. Besides that I would definitely recommend!

They’re beautiful, and was easy to put up around my daughter’s new bed. They fit perfectly, and went all the way around. No cracks in between, which was perfect for her!

My bed size was 76WX82L, I purchased a king size, this fit perfectly on the top part. The material is very thick and not see through. I like that it came with black hooks for curtains and black string to hold the top up. The curtain holders are nicely made, they feel silky. Super satisfied with my purchase

These curtains are not black out! They also seem pretty paper-like, but they are tougher than they look and look really nice on my cheap canopy frame. BONUS- I feel super cozy and safe inside my little bed cave! They were better than I thought they would be based on the price. I also skipped using the ties and used some clips since I only open the one side. Over all I really like them and I sleep better in my new cute cave bed! Also super easy to put on! Only took a few minutes! Over all would recommend.

The curtains are amazing! But depending on the type of frame your canopy bed has, it won’t fit right. Mine tore as I was trying to put it on. But overall, it looks great!

i have to say at the start these are not actually curtains as per say they are made from the blackout lining that is normally attached to the curtains them self and upon delivery there is truly only 4 curtains which also means the curtains cannot be tied back as individual curtains as per say for each side as normally for a 4 poster you would have 2 curtains per side so the whole 4 poster would require 4 sets of 2 curtains so 8 curtains in total this is not what they supplied i received 4 blackout linings and a blackout canopy had i of known i would not have ordered them and theirs no option to order the canopy or curtains separately very poor show but the blackout linings that were sent do indeed do there job as blackout linings there is a slight sheen inside the linings and a Matt flat finish to the other side i shall use this as the end of the bed and the canopy under side and place the dressage curtains over the top thank you for reading

Does the job but not particularly well, and is very poor quality, especially the hooks - the ones provided are cheap shower curtain style hooks. It was also super annoying to put up even with two people. I wouldn't recommend it.

Not enough materials when you close them there’s a big gap between one piece of material and the next piece but disappointing when the sun can still get through the gap

A really cheaply made item. Thin curtains like a shower curtain and white rope to fix a black canopy to the bed. A waste of money. Cheap white shower curtain rings for the curtains and gaudy gold nylon twine to tie them back. I needed this for my bed, not a communal shower. Awful. Can’t return as they give you four return labels. Where are you meant to put four label?! Avoid.
