Looking for a bigger savings box for my son but they are all just too small, or silly big...this is inbetween and perfect.This is a very robust plastic that will last probably a lifetime, very easy to access, without the bung falling out, and looks great too.Highly recommend

In all respects this was a perfect gift.Until opening the base.Following the opened arrow twisted it around, but then it wouldn't easily lift out and a little persuasion was required. Easy enough for an adult, but not a child. Especially as an implement had to be used to pry it open. Far too easy using an implement to get a finger or hand impaled if not done with something flat. Even a screwdriver could be a concern for children's hands.For that alone, it loses two stars, otherwise it would have easily got five stars.It was purchased as a birthday present just about a year ago, and it's held a hefty amount of change in that time. Great for keeping on a desk, especially because it looks like a desk ornament and not a piggy bank.If you like cats, then the black cat one should be a fun item for a cat loving person.
