Good toy
Was told they are great to squeeze and stretch but seems to bring out the urge to chew and to throw them at walls to see them bounce. Ones now got teeth marks so it's a good thing it's a multi pack xD

Durable and awesome!
Really love these! They are perfect for little kids, big kids, and even adults! Helps my kids focus while doing their school work or reading or listening to a story. I find myself playing with it while I’m reading to them. It’s not a distraction either- and it’s super sensory which is awesome. I don’t leave many reviews but I highly suggest these. It came in a super small box which I kind of felt like oh, what did I spend my money on?! But there are 10 to a box and really worth every penny! Very durable and high quality. And I wouldn’t want them to come in a bigger box as it would be a waste of space. They really are great. I’d buy them again but they are so durable I don’t think I’ll have to. :)

This is a great sensory toy! Nearly indestructible! Give the right amount of sensory stimulation to the hands.

Amazing
The spikes provide good sensory input and help with stress relief. The appearance is the same as the image shows. It is a medium size, and the color is accurately depicted in the photo. It does break after a lot of use, so maybe not the best for constant fidgeting. Overall very fun and good for mild use fidgeting.

Love these...but if they are meant to be fidgeted, why do they come apart within minutes!!!
I absolutely LOVE the feel of these from a sensory perspective. From a practical perspective...come on!! If they are meant to be fidgeted with and rolled along the fingers, then why do they come apart after only a few minutes??? The ends should be more securely attached together rather than screwed together otherwise they are useless for their purpose. On fence if I will buy again. Too costly for them to only last a few minutes when all I'm doing is rolling them up and down my fingers. That's disappointing.

It earned a 5 over time
I had originally planned to rate this 4, but over time it has earned a 5. I bought it on impulse after realizing I chew on my fingers at times, even though I'm not fidgety overall. I even have a callus on one finger. I think I must have chewed my fingers since I was a child, since I had calluses then too. Now I notice that when I'm reading on my laptop and using the mouse with my right hand, I often find myself unconsciously starting to chew on a finger on my left hand--must be stress. At first I found the hedgehog rings a little smaller than expected and slightly prickly. They aren't comfortable to keep still on my finger, but I do roll them up and down and between fingers. They do have a slight metallic smell, which I've gotten used to. As an adult I have had no problem with them breaking; I used the gold one for 2 months with no problem till I dropped it and can't find it. The 2nd one, which is blue, feels slightly softer. I have decided the slight discomfort makes them work better because it gives that sensory element that reduces stress for me. I have two other items that I've tried--a fidget ball and a worry stone--that I actually LIKE better, because they feel better. However, I see that the hedgehog ring is the one I keep reaching for, because apparently it does the trick better. My finger callus is now gone. For me these have proven themselves over time.
