The heights of the stand are all the same, the difference lies in compatibility. The ClipMount is compatible with most smartphones, but not with tablets or foldable smartphones. The FlexMount is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and foldable smartphones.

Q: How many inches across is the base when not extended? I have a very small cup holder type spot I want to put it.

Im not sure on inches, but I can tell you this. I drive a Chrysler 200 and it has cup holders along side the doors, both driver and passenger. Like a small coffee cup from McDonald’s fits just fine but anything bigger than that will not fit. I wasn’t sure if the base would fit in my smaller cup holder but it does just fine and sits snug when you extend it. Hope this helps in some way.

Q: Can the clip head change out for a wireless one, maybe that can use a Diameter 0.67inch （17mm） Joint Ball? Or does it come with a wireless clip?

DOES NOT come with a wireless clip. Won't be able to change out with a ball n socket type head. This one had the head assembly attached with no ball n socket... it is then connected to the arm with a 4mm hex bolt assembly.
