misunderstanding
A very good publication but I had purchased it under the impression it was a method which included some English text rather than 100% in German. Still I find it useful in spite of the initial misunderstanding. It was delivered promptly.

great book to reinforce those basics in German that you've probably forgotten

Great Book
Very pleased with this book and cd. Great for practice and revision. Ideal for a beginner.

Excellent but get A1, not A1.1, will save you money
All great, just watch out that this is A1.1, so for A1 course you will need to get yet another book. Not a fault of a produckt though!

Confusing & Unstructured
If you wish to try to develop your language learning without structured tuition - whatever you do - don't buy this book.It HAS to be used in the context of a classroom / seminar environment & even within 'In Seminar / Tutorial' use .I found it segmented & confusing & BIGGEST SIN OF ALL - included nouns without their gender which - as is well known - is the NOT the best way to learn GermanWoefully unsatisfactory as a learning medium - from the point of view of a person engaging in re familiarisation.Whilst 'appearing' to be appropriate for 'individual' learnig - It is NOT !Unfortunately - I then found the balance between content for an adult learner / incompatible with the basic fundamentals.In short - I, as an adult, have attended several evening & german speaking courses.This book is a failed compromise between self learning & structured tuition.Do not buy - to try to enhance your language speaking - unless you have commited to a language course !

Not user friendly
Not very intuitive, looked at it once and there are definitely better language books on the market
