My kids love these advent calendars. The 3 of them share one, and take turns opening the days. Some are super simple, some are characters, and some are more unique. Good for later incorporating into Harry Potter themed Lego sets.

Another event from HP book with daily pieces to add to backdrop. Eagerly put together and added to shelf display. Won't continue many more years due to age but has been fun.

Got it for daughter to enjoy she looked forward to each morning and opening a new day all the different Lego items were easy to put together and the good quality Lego always provides we had extra pieces on many days so if she accidentally misplaced a smaller piece we often had a replacement for it

Everything in this Lego Advent Calendar is charming and fun. Something to keep fingers busy every day before Christmas. Know user will gently take apart and reassemble year after year.

The problem with all of these lego advent calendars is that you get 4-5 great legos you really want (harry, hermoine, ron) and a bunch that you're left staring at and wondering what the heck it is! Even a big Harry Potter fan like me was stumped on a few of them. I don't think i'll buy another one. Also, none of the builds come with instructions. They just sort of show you what the finished project is supposed to look like on the inside of the door. Overall 4 stars for execution and content. I'd buy your loved one a bigger HP set instead.
