I initially bought these shoes because they were the only ones that would arrive on time, but was glad that I had. I already own the higher "kickline" style, but needed something that I could sustainably wear for longer periods, so went for a lower heel and half a size bigger than the pair I already had. It is really important to size up by at least half a size (my originals) but ideally a whole one (this pair), as, like all dance shoes, these are a very neat fit and because they have a manmade upper they have no stretch.

Lovely character shoes. Great fit. Go half a size up from your regular shoe size(which is normal when buying stage shoes. )

Very comfortable and nice shape, but it took 3 goes to get the right size! There seems to be a big difference between them. Even with the half sizes the does are a little big in length. Will see how they feel after a few weeks of dance class.

I followed the advice of other customers and bought a half size up. The fit is perfect and the shoes very comfortable.

Purchased these lovely dance shoes a size bigger as it was suggested.The shoe is lovely, but they’re far too tight.Now I don’t know what size I would order because it could be that I have to return a second pair.

Love these shoes! The wide width is perfect, but I had to go up a 1/2 size as other reviews had suggested.

My daughter has been dancing for 25 years. She’s had many brands and models of shoes to compare over the years and always loves this particular one. One particular feature she loves about these is that the rear of the shoe has the squared off lower edge. She’s says that part is extremely comfortable but loves the shoe overall also. So much so that instead of buying tap shoes we also use this shoe and install taps on it because she likes it so much

I had to order for my daughter's play. I am not a dance mom. I didn't realize their shoe size is not their dance shoe size. Order a size and a half bigger! Otherwise a perfect shoe for what I needed!

***Pros: 1" heel (perfect for a teen who can't walk/ dance as well in 2" heels); great price (relative to other theater/ dance shoes and the quality is fine); comfortable. ***Cons: size runs unusually small so order up 1/2 size at least. Many reviews suggested to order up an entire size- this did not work for my daughter, she was swimming in a whole size larger shoe; 1/2 size up was the sweet spot. Buckle- very hard to get the strap through the frame. Because a lot of kids wear shoes like this for theater and dance performances, which often require quick shoe changes, the company should consider addressing this, making the buckle easier to get on and off.

Bought these for my mother who does not like dress shoes. She really enjoyed wearing these—she went up and down the stairs of her walk-up in them and did not complain about walking to the restaurant so I can only assume they are comfortable. I have my reservations on how long they will last, the materials do not look like they are long lasting.
