I was very sceptical of AR glasses being of a high enough quality to justify the high price but I'm glad I finally took the plunge and bought these.I was halfway expecting the image quality to be blurry, dim, and very poor overall. But, to my surprise, I was mostly wrong about that. Even without the lens cover the image is very bright indoors, especially if you have it at the highest brightness. I haven't used it outdoors but I have to imagine it would be just fine if you use the lens cover.The video quality is excellent. You can see almost as much detail as you can on a large TV and with a 120hz refresh rate everything is buttery smooth.The Rokid Station is a must-buy with these glasses. Yes, you can plug these into your phone or tablet and watch content that way but to have a separate handheld, battery powered, Android TV device to use instead of draining the battery of your other devices is very nice. The only downside is that there is no Netflix even though almost all of the other streaming services are there. Hopefully they'll straighten that out soon. You can always plug the glasses into your phone to watch Netflix though.The only major gripe I have with these glasses is that the lenses aren't quit large enough to see the entire image clearly. The edges of the image are kind of blurry so it's a little hard to read text in that area. The corners are also cut off a little but it's not too bad. Larger lenses for the image to spread out properly should take care of this.Despite that these glasses are a joy to use; especially with the Rokid Station. I'm very high on these and now I can't wait to see the next iteration of Rokid glasses.

Ladies and gentlemen, the glasses work, you can watch movies through the glasses, and you don't need prescription glasses in most cases. This whole thing that it's like a theater is incorrect, you will have to use some bits of your imagination. However, and a quiet environment, the sound quality is perfect, you don't need an extra speaker to hear clearly or to see the picture.The downside, Google apps only, and there is the text to speech feature that I could never get to work properly, so having to type each and every individual letter for each and every word for each and every sentence was annoying. The price, it is not worth $500, if you want to have an experience with being able to watch whatever you want to watch, buy a tablet, get yourself Bluetooth headset and enjoy your trips that way, who cares if anyone sees you watching Aladdin or princess Aaliyah goes to Hollywood? If you're watching adult stuff so to speak, in public, you might need to speak to someone about that?I have returned a glasses, hand delivered it to the UPS driver myself, Amazon received it on Thursday the 26th of October according to the label, but has not documented that on my account, only shows that it's pending a return. That's on Amazon, it's not the first time.However, if you want to just be able to say, - I got the latest thing, I am a Jones - then this may be for you. But I don't need to keep up with the Joneses, it's a family name, and they get on my nerves in more ways than one.Rokid- doesn't appear that it will be upgradable, you can tell that it needs improvement, but for what it offers, and the learning curve, not that difficult, and it does deliver. I do hope that this honest experience helps some of you, and it is not designed to deter you from purchasing this product, as I said, I give it four stars. I am choosing to get a different brand with other features that allows me to have the ability of having updates and upgrades to the software, which I didn't see an offer for such this model. If they intend to do so, and do provide it, I have not noticed we're such is in writing, and if I missed it, my bad.

The Rokid Max AR glasses offer a unique experience, projecting a large screen in front of your eyes with adjustable focus controls. The Max glasses look very futuristic and really grab others' attention, making them even cooler. Their large, oval front lenses stand out, and they come with an opaque black plastic cover to block bright light. While not a full augmented reality experience, the Rokid Max glasses provide a bright picture and a wide field of view. They also have diopter adjustment dials, allowing you to focus the lenses. These glasses project images like a face-mounted monitor, with motion-based features accessible through an Android companion app. With the Android app, you can use multiple screens simultaneously with motion tracking when turning your head. The Rokid Max glasses are comfortable to wear, as I use them on flights since I travel a lot. I also use them to view videos while doing chores around the house as the cable is very comfortable due to the slight angle it has. You can change the audio from privacy mode to a louder output by holding the button down, which is great! Samsung DeX works perfectly with Rokid Max AR, turning them into an almost fully functional computer to which you can connect a mouse and keyboard. The Rokid station is perfect as you can just put it in your pocket for on-the-go entertainment, as it is like an Android TV that you can travel with. In summary, the Rokid Max AR glasses are worth considering.

I had issues getting it set up and then almost a day of perfect viewing. Now I can't even get it to turn on for over 10 hours. So frustrating when it worked great for a day. Would love to keep enjoying.*edit: they have offered me a refund and I may use it to eventually buy another set because that day that they worked was great. I watched shows on crunchyroll and hooked up to my Switch to play Zelda Tears of the Kingdom abs it was brought and crisp and fun. Maybe I got a faulty set. With the quick response, I may give them another try. I'll change my rating once it is all settled. Even good customer service deserves more stars.
