Life saver for me
My half-dachshund suddenly could not use his back legs a little over a week ago. I got him in to the vet the next morning, and my internet explorations were confirmed: this is common in dachshunds, probably a slipped or damaged disc (still has reflex reactions in both hind legs, which is a good sign). The treatment is 6-12 weeks of keeping the dog immobile so that the disc can heal. This means lifting and carrying the dog, keeping him kenneled when not actively monitoring him. My two little dachshunds are not kennel trained, but I borrowed a kennel for him. While George's littermate Fred weighs 15 lbs, George weighs around 30 lbs. I am 70 and have some mobility issues, so carrying a dog as heavy as George is VERY difficult. I immediately began researching solutions and settled on the HPZ XL Pet Rover Premium Heavy Duty Stroller. It expands so that my long little dog can lay down comfortably, it is rated to carry a 75 lb dog, so it is presumably steady enough to transport a 30 lb one smoothly enough not to exacerbate his spinal injury. This means I can move my anxious little dog around the house with me (keeping him from trying to follow me), and carrying him next door on my own to my daughter's house, but keep from making my own medical issues worse while doing so. The stroller arrived yesterday (fully a day ahead of when Amazon said it would!!!) and I had some difficulty with assembling it - but called the help line and got a very cheerful and helpful woman who offered help, although my 8-year-old grandchild figured out how to put it together while I was calling - so this is clearly easy enough to assemble that a young child can do on their own!!! And if you don't have one of those, the help line is actually nice and helpful. I was worried that George would be frightened of being in a stroller, but it must feel very secure to him, because he is just fine with it (of course, he is drugged because of his injury). This stroller is easy to maneuver around inside my house, works quite easily in the yard even with grass that needs cutting, and now I can look forward to the next 5-11 weeks of confinement with the confidence that I can do this and help George recover, without hurting myself. I love this stroller. It's even big enough that George's littermate, Fred, can ride with him.ADDEDENDUM 2.5 weeks into use: I love this stroller, but have added some 3M reflective tape to parts of the stroller because I have to push it up and down a steep street without a sidewalk to get home - this is the only improvement I would suggest to the manufacturer. Make the stroller visible in the dark.

Sturdy stout dog stroller!
Our shi-shon was in need of a more sturdy stroller just having had back surgery and unable to walk. This stroller is great; very sturdy. No rocking or tipping. The larger wheels make for a smoother ride/pushing/rolling, however, like some cars, you aren’t able to make as tight of a turn(u-turn). If it’s too bright out, you can lift up the top to keep sun out of your pets eyes, but open a small compartment in front of them so they can see out, as well as another one on top, so you can look in to ensure your pet is well. There’s plenty of room to store needed supplies underneath, as well as a place to hold the owners drink can. The lever makes for easy lifting up the front when needed and also folding it for storage while transporting. It is a little heavy for me to pick up and place in rear of vehicle, but I’ve had back issues. Overall great stroller and positive will serve us for many years!.

Big enough for my 2 Frenchies
This is a great stroller for the money. I have two French bulldogs, one only weighs 17 pounds but the other weighs 33 pounds, there’s plenty of room and it holds them well. This stroller is quite heavy, at least it is to me. It’s not horrible to load and unload and it maneuvers fairly easily. Now granted there’s about 50 pounds of dogs and the stroller itself is heavy so you should take into consideration, this is pretty good maneuvering. But it is definitely not anything but taking your dogs on a stroll, quite literally. I do recommend the stroller but I can say that I have never used it anywhere other than sidewalks. It seems quite durable and I love the space it gives them. If you like strolling your dogs with you, this is perfect. This is particularly great if you have multiple dogs. Or one big dog. If you intend to run or jog, I’m sure you already know you need a special stroller for that . This works for my lazy self and my little dogs who can’t walk in extreme heat or cold but they can sure ride and this makes me happy! Hope this helps y’all.

Really huge, if you have a small dog, but a really nice product
This was really huge! I couldn't quite get the full compartment to go down and I was returning it as too big, but to the best I could measure, the interior compartment is 17" wide x 29" long. It was a very nice product, nice Midnight Blue color, but way too big as I use it to go to the Vet. The width of the stroller is 21" wide and the doorways at my house are 30", so it's pretty big to take to the Vet and fit thru doorways. Taking a stroller to the Vet allows my 14lb Pekingese to relax and stay calm, I'm not holding him so he's not picking up my body heat, he's cool and he can see out in all directions. I need a stroller to go to the Vet, it makes life easier. Also the easy close front was a nice design.

Good stroller
The media could not be loaded. Update: 3/28/25 - The padding on handle is starting to split open. I haven't even had it for a year. I didn't leave it out in the elements and I'm not hard on it so I don't know why the padding is splitting, but it is. I have to remove a star from my rating, because the handle does not seem to be very durable.I love this stroller for my 27 lb Frenchie. It's sturdy, it works well, and he loves it. There are a few cons. The cup holder is completely worthless. It won't hold anything other than a 16 oz plastic water bottle. I tried my Yeti cup and a reusable water bottle, but neither fit in the cup holder. If you do put a 16 oz water bottle in the cup holder be prepared for the cup holder to spin upside down and drop the water bottle on the ground. Like I said, useless. I took it off and tossed it. Another con is that for some reason, there is a plastic foot rest on this thing that does nothing other than make a bunch of clanging noise unless you put it in the up and engaged position. And finally, it's heavy. Otherwise, it's a really great stroller. I'm very happy with it. Compared to the cheaper stroller I initially bought and had to return, it is the Cadillac of strollers.
